  • Our plan is to fully trim this dash in leather and add storage bins and guages for a cleaner and weatherproof dash more suitable for our soft top conversion build.

i made similar dashboard with aluminium sheet, it was in 3 pieces bolted together, the top piece, middle piece (which had all gauges, switches, meters and so on, and the bottom piece which holds the bottom part and the universal AC evaporators. it was nice.

I fitted this dash to my 110 tomb raider and is a really good addition and has endless customisation, love the classic style aluminium look

I like the simplicity of this, even the old Series 3 dash felt like a forbidden place where cables disappear. Not sure I like the idea of losing the classic LR air conditioning vents though. The speedo mount is a perfect situation for a 3D printed spacer.

Interesting video, I have a 30yo Defender soft top, and the dash has seen better days so keen to follow progress. Be interesting to see how you add the heater controls levers

I've just bought an 1986 v8 90 and love this series. Dashboards are definitely the thing I'm struggling most with in the restoration

I started with my bukhead completely stripped of everything 110. I then sliced off the tray on a Series II bulkhead (well beyond saving it!) and welded it onto the 110 bulkhead. It went together very easily. Wiring it up with a standard center gauge panel from a Series II makes it look original. I'm super pleased with it!
