EXO is that group where all members are multi-talented. Main vocals can rap and dance, Main rappers can sing and dance, main dancers can sing and rap, models,actors,producers,composers,lyricist and all talents you could see out there. The only thing they can't do is to disappoint you and to slice a cake properly ( but they learn how to slice the cakes right alr 😂)
You just check the live performance, like the acoustic medley in Japan or Wolf Remix in Exordium Japan

EXO debuted in 2012 with 12 members divided in two groups: EXO-K(promoting and singing in Korean) and EXO-M(promoting and singing in Mandarin). Three Chinese members left and they continued as one group just called EXO all singing in Korean, Chinese and Japanese. EXO-L is the name of their fanbase as the letter stand in the middle of the K and M. "Guide to EXO 2020" and "EXOs amazing vocals 2020" is a good way to get to know EXO. This comeback is super important and special to Exo-L's (the fans) because for one reason they haven't had a comeback in about 2 years due to members starting their mandatory military service and 2nd one of the members, the last Chinese member hasn't been able to promote with the group (not counting cameos) since about 2017 due to political conflicts between South Korea and China. A good guide to watch is from a channel called Cesar Oh introduction to Exo. it gives you the basic info you need and they've made other videos from that one that can help as well.

EXO may not be marketed by SM in the West, but their talent and especially their vocals have caused their international fanbase to continue to grow. This comeback is very unique as there will be no promotions or stages or pretty much anything other than the album (5 songs but they all slap!) and this MV. This album was for their fans (EXO-L) and there are references to their fans everywhere in the MV (L-1485 refers to the founding of EXO-L on Aug 5, 2014, prior to that fans were knows as Exotics). I don't think SM Entertainment had any desire to have an album but the members wanted it for the fans as a gift and it is definitely that). Having Lay (the Chinese member) back singing with EXO is wonderful!
To learn more about the group and the individual members, check out the guides by Cesar Oh. If you are interested in the lore/concept (which every video connects to), I would recommend watching the videos in order (2 pre-debut songs "What is Love" and "History" and their debut "Mama" would be the first 3). they call their fans Eris or EXO-L. They debuted in 2012 with 6members of EXO-K and 6 members of EXO-K. After 3 chinese members left, one chinese stays and that is Lay (the one in a red polo in the parallel world dance part.) total of 9members left. If you think you’ve seen the best of their vocals, there are much to watch out especially from Chen who is in the military right now. At this moment they cannot promote this new album because 4 of the members are inside the military and Lay is in China. They’re all good in singing and dancing and rapping :) welcome new EXO-L! I just became an EXO-L in 2018 and this is my first comeback experience.

EXO's best song by far is OVERDOSE, great choreo too which brings us to their big classic GROWL and its great choreo. The other song I'd highly recommend is TEMPO (my only complaint was the altered super deep vocal section, but other than that it's great, has a really good bridge and highlights their vocals). Dancer Kai dated BP Jennie for a few months(?) somewhere around time of her solo.
