PETE, you are by far the hardest working Lawn youtuber there is. The amazing thing is your not about only pushing products etc. Mad respect , I have been following you for 5 plus years and your as genuine as the day I discovered you.
I would love to hear a break down of the cost you charge customers for this type of job. It would be great for homeowners on what to expect and the pros who watch.
Could be completely wrong but my guess would be around $2,500 to $3,500 including one day of equipment use, materials and then plus hydro mulching. That doesn’t include any extra dirt brought in. Just raking, spraying tenacity, grubs, spreading fert, and seed then add the hydro mulching.
While I would also like to know what Pete’s breakdown is for a full lawn reno, my guess is that he is somewhere between $3,700-$6,500. Probably.10-.20/sq. Ft. Regrade and soil de-compaction and .12-.18/sq. Ft for hydro seed (includes seed, fert, and mulch). Might be way off, but that seems relatively realistic for as much work as he is doing.
I get it's closer to 10 grand for a yard that big. Pete how bout a video on how you price a job like this and more importantly how you present it to the customer? Awesome video by the way. It doesnt something good for my soul to see you renovate a lawn ...like a frame off restorationfor a classic automobile. Go Ventrac! That thing is a beast.
Pete- you are the master on the Power Rake among others. I love watching you on the Ventrac. I need to invite you out to Texas to put in a Par2 in my backyard and work your magic with my turf. I promise we will feed you well! Take care and God is good.
Nice Work Pete! Don't underestimate the power of a "Hose Guy" when hydroseeding. Nothing better than focusing on spraying while someone is taking care of the slack and getting the hose out of the way of where you'll be spraying next. Have a great weekend!
I was just able to purchase a 25lb bag of TTTF and I’m so excited! Couldn’t afford anymore or the fertilizer but was blessed to be able to buy what I did. Keep up the great work Pete and God bless you and your entire family 🙏
No matter how close of a friend you are, it never gets old when I see a notification that you’ve posted a new video. Another great one in the books. Those freedom shots in the background were cool also.
Keeping the internal motivation on a ventrac sounds like fun. Such a amazing piece of machinery, I think I will be buying stocks in the company on Monday. Thanks Pete.
Pete my brothers and sister in Christ are asking me how things are going with your brother and his wife and babies, I shared your videos on my Facebook and requested prayers from my fellow prayer warriors, you have so much love and support from all of us Pete, I've learned so much from you and I love your content, following on all platforms of your media, when u get a chance shoot us an update on the family, prayers for you and your loved ones my brother 🙏🙏🙏🤝
The Ventrac is amazing. What other machine could you use for a major renovation, without having to move or spread any dirt by hand? It is impressive how you were able to get your grade perfect around the foundation and driveway.
Pete how did you ever make it without that hydroseed machine? It takes the biggest challenge of seeding and almost eliminates it completely. When you do a reno now it's probably what ? 90% success rate on 1st try. Someone needs to make a hose end device home owners could spray.
Hey Pete, just curious on how you guys prep your soil. When you’re power raking or aerovating do you take the chance to blend any organics or gypsum to improve the soil characteristics? That clay was eventually nice & fluffy but won’t it pack back down? Whatever works for you guys I guess, & I’m certainly not going to tell you how to do things. I guess we all do things a little differently. I was just curious that’s all. Cheers mate 👍🏻🇦🇺😎🏝
Hey Pete I didn’t see where you posted the roller that you got for the ventrac. Can you post a link to that product or the company that you purchased it from?
Good stuff Pete! Just renovated my lawn with GCI TTTF and about 75% has germinated (15th day since putting down seed). I’m near Charlotte, NC and we haven’t had much rain, so I’ve been watering twice a day. Some areas are patchy while other areas are coming in nicely. The patchy areas are in direct sunlight, so is it safe to assume I’ll need to fill in the patchy spots with more seed?
Have a seeding question for you Pete when your bare ground seeding and using your aerovater do you put half your seed down first then aerovate or do you put all your seed down first then aerovate
@@GCITurf was just curious Pete which way you thought worked best putting half down first or all of it then aerovating thanks for the help Pete appreciate all your time and input

Thank you sir.
The way you worked the soil around the wall was quite impressive Mr. Pete.
I could watch a ventrac all day. 🤓
I absolutely love the Ventrac. You could literally have a business based solely on the Ventrac and what it is capable of.
I would love to hear a break down of the cost you charge customers for this type of job. It would be great for homeowners on what to expect and the pros who watch.
Same

I was thinking the same thang

Pete Really enjoying the Mechanical Renovations.

Ventrac is the best out there! Great demo and video!
Rewatched! Liked, Viewed, Subscribed... This is the best channel and content. Love the Venteac usage!
Love the Ventrac! Been watching all day.....
Looks awesome! Would be winning the lottery to have a yard reno done by this man!
The equipment you use is absolutely incredible

Keep up the great work Pete and God bless you and your entire family 🙏
That Ventrac is one heck of a machine. The renovation looks great. Can’t wait to see it in a month.
I hate you're not just a little closer (I'm just north of Raleigh). I'd love a "Tarheel Blue" yard!
Great video to show networking and people are still needed in any business to be successful
Last Aussie 😁. Smooth operator there Pete. 😎
Awesome seeing you in the ventrac 4520 preview!!! Love your channel brother, hard worker...dying breed
I promise you, this man don’t stop! God bless
WIDE OPEN!!!!
Always enjoyable to see the high quality of work you do. God bless!
Tarheel Blue yard... made my day.

Always an awesome day when Pete is out doing what Pete’s doing best … 😉. Love watching cool videos using top notch lawn care equipment.
A+++
I didn't know you could use tenacity on a seed job. Boy, that stuff seems handy. I've only used it once, so I've got a lot to learn about it.
Keeping the internal motivation on a ventrac sounds like fun. Such a amazing piece of machinery, I think I will be buying stocks in the company on Monday. Thanks Pete.
That machine looks like a ton of fun
Looking forward to seeing this come in! Nice work Pete!
Awesome work 👏
great job as always Pete!!
And as always, a very satisfying video to watch on top of a job well done.
Well done Pete 👊🏼
Hey, Pete, I'd like info on the roller, if you would please. Thanks!
Inspiring.
Also…I was all like, “They have a roller?!?!”. 😅

Pete can you do a follow up video of this, i'd love to see how this works out.
Yes very interested in the roller attachment and how you adapted it to the Ventrac
+1 for the Welders!
The Ventrac is amazing. What other machine could you use for a major renovation, without having to move or spread any dirt by hand? It is impressive how you were able to get your grade perfect around the foundation and driveway.
I noticed that the PTO switch wasnt near the cup holder. I thought that it was. Why isnt there one in that area on this 4520?

Hey Petey, can you show us this yard after it has grown in?
You’re turning into the hydro seed king.
Another question is the power rake and a Harley rake the same thing? My rental company has a Harley rake available for rent.
Hey Pete!
Hey Pete I didn’t see where you posted the roller that you got for the ventrac. Can you post a link to that product or the company that you purchased it from?
Hey Pete, great video. Never saw a Roller or Box Blade on the Ventrac site. Where do you get your attachments from?

Does dead grass / material clump bad when leveling with the power rake or does it just mix in the soil?
Loan me that for about a week. Dang tornado. Thy will be done. What about the rocks and sticks?
Hey Pete you forgot to add Matt’s RUclips channel
Oops ruclips.net/channel/UCBXoOXUcR_xbKIZKvGcNW1w
I didn't know Toro owned Ventrac
Dang. You act like you've done that once or twice before 👌
Ventrac is a good maschin 😁
Looks great.
No reason for Ventrac to do commercials with your channel around!
Pete, was that some Bermuda still alive in the backyard that got tilled in?
Hey Pete
What hydro seeder are you using?
If I keep watching these videos, I going to buy a Ventrac for 0.5 acre yards, LOL!!!
So it is completely safe to use tenacity and seed together?
Yes Pete recommends tenacity for bare dirt seedings only.
Is this the time of the year you normally do grub control?
How do you identify the difference between cool and warm season grasses that appear similar like fescue and st agustine?!
@adog3336 so all warm season grasses spread like bermuda? And cool season can spread only under the soil?
I’m late to the party tonight!
Have a seeding question for you Pete when your bare ground seeding and using your aerovater do you put half your seed down first then aerovate or do you put all your seed down first then aerovate
I’ve done that many times with excellent results
@@GCITurf was just curious Pete which way you thought worked best putting half down first or all of it then aerovating thanks for the help Pete appreciate all your time and input
There’s my buddy mattco
💪🏽💪🏽👨🏭👨🏭
Can you talk about how much you charged for this service?
Why did you buy the roller when you have the ABI force with the cultipacker?
I didn’t have room on the trailer for the ventrac, Turfware, and ABI. Only had room for 2 machines
How is your brother and sister in law??
Doing GREAT!!! The triplets are healthy!!!
The hydro looks very sparse
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Jacob when you gonna tell that man to go sit down somewhere and take over those Ventrac reno jobs.
@@dailyDIYdude it’ll be awhile lol 🤣
NC State is red. Not sure if you were purposely trolling her with Tar heel blue or she actually went to NC.
GO HEELS!
Hey Pete! Do you prefer the performance of the new style Ventrac power rake or the previous model?
