In season 1, when Maki grabbed that 3 section staff, "Playful Cloud" to fight Tree dude (Hanami) she said it had a disgusting aura about it. It was because Geto was the last person to use it. And its a really powerful cursed weapon, the more physical strength one posesses, the more weight is behind the swings. Powerful hand to hand combatants like Geto and Todo can get the most out of it, but someone like Maki and Toji (Who possess no cursed energy but have monster strength) can use it to the max.

You got that right, Yuta was OP from the start. I think that was one of the reason why he was not made as the MC for Jujutsu Kaisen (him lacking the power development arc/trope).

Just here to say 0 at the end of anime titles usually means "episode 0", they do be having different protags sometimes but basically "episode 0"s happen before the main story-line we're familiar with to set the history.

About Geto, Gojo did actually kill him. You'll know what actually happened and why we're still seeing him in the present time later. For now, just know that he's actually dead, killed by his closest friend( that slashing sound hinted this)
The reason maki got annoyed when yuta asked her about cursed energy is because she has none of it (or almost none). It's like asking a cripple tips on the proper technique to ride a bike, lol.

the reason inumaki speaks in riceball ingredients is because his speech is a weapon. And this make more sense when you know how to write and speak japanese. For example in japanese you can say "four" and someone could hear you mention "death" instead.
to give you better example in english. Imagine if he says "your dad" but accidentally pronounce it as "you're dead"... it is absolutely an accident and he did not mean it but... you are dead now and probably he is too as such a big curse would take huge toll on him
