Pau may be the creative "spark" for the band but that wouldn't mean much without the exploration and focus Dany and Ale bring. In a recent interview both Dany and Pau were fairly explicit in singling out Ale as the ultimate arbiter of the direction (and final form) of their songs. Such a fascinating dynamic at work with these ladies. An utterly unique and talented set off sisters!

It can’t be perfect obviously, I remember Dany and Ale took Pau out of the room while composing Money because she was getting really passionate, she was not happy of course but everything went well after a moment.
I learned about them few weeks ago and I just cant stop listening to them. Its like when I was a teen and was buying albums like Death-Human, Sepultura-Arise and Pantera-CFH. There is something in their music that draws me in like albums did when I was young. I know this is not the same music but there is just something in some of their songs that grabs you and you just want more.
This sounds silly but as great as their music is, it's not just about the music with them. It's how they formed the band and came up through the ranks. It's how grounded and nice they are, and that there is not one inflated ego to be found. And soooo much more. Just watch some of their vlogs and you'll love them even more.
Both of these songs are from "Queen of the Murder Scene," a concept album about a young woman’s descent into obsession, murder, and madness., released in 2018 when Ale was 13, Pau was 16, and Dany was 18. "Dust to Dust," the opening track and the prologue, introduces themes of life, death, and deception, with the protagonist warning of how quickly things can spiral. "Dull Knives (Cut Better)," the 9th track and part of Chapter 3, depicts her growing despair and self-harm as her evil side takes control, leaving her emotionally shattered and consumed by darkness.
DtD: That bass line gets me every time. Ale wasn't even a teenager when she wrote it. DK: For a reason or another, Dull Knives is my most listened song. Especially the version 'live from the Warning Cave for deTour'. Excellent base line there too.
As you get to know TW better you discover that their music is steeped in various rock styles but invariably it’s pure rock. And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very personal opinion that their structure, their cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, their endings... All of it is masterful. The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all of this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection, with sophistication predominating. There could always be other options, but the ones they choose seem to be the exact ones to create a masterpiece of art. Also impregnating everything with a natural touch of inevitable sensuality that only adds improvements and with the feeling, sensitivity and passion of their blood, race and culture. Each of their pieces can be very different, but always with all the flavor of TW. It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits. They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain period of time. This is the youngest veteran band in the world of rock!! Without forgetting that they are only three, yes, but three authentic geniuses in their specialization. Melodically they are the best, without a doubt, because they are the queens of the hook, the riff, the changes of tonality, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime voices, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages. And this happens song after song… INCREDIBLE!! And all of the above is exponentially enhanced in each of their live performances. The more you dive into The Warning rabbit hole, you’ll eventually realize that not ONLY are the girls amazing musicians, songwriters, performers, etc…but that they are also amazing people, as well. They’re hands down the most humble and kindhearted people in the music biz today. That also plays heavily into their loyal and consistently growing fanbase. Not just the sisters, but the entire Villarreal family! I also strongly urge you to see them in concert, the next chance you get as well! My son and I saw them for the first time back in September, in Baltimore, and they blew the roof off the place. btw CDMX = Cuidad de Mexico, i.e. Mexico City. So at this Pepsi Center CDMX concert Pau (the drummer) was so sick they were considering cancelling (and her sisters were not at 100% either). To top it off Mexico City is ~ 7300 feet above sea level. And then The Warning comes out and puts on this highly energetic show for the 8,000 fans that bought tickets!
They have a six part documentary (each part is about 5 minutes long) where they discuss going from independent to signed and making their first EP as a signed band 'Mayday'. It's called 'Mayday in the making. 'Mayday' eventually became the full album 'Error'. Golden rule of The Warning is to hit 'RECORD' before you hit 'PLAY' because we want to watch it with you, by the way!

If you really want your mind blown check out either the 2016 or 2017 TedX performances. They are each just three songs so they can easily fit in one video. If I had to choose one I would say the 2017. They were all three basically still kids. I think Dany was 17, Pau was 15 and Ale was 12.
The Mexican band has existed since 2008, when the bassist was 8. They have only released their third LP on a label and the parents of the three sisters are part of the crew. They entered the music industry as a family business and are therefore not very corruptible. Drummer Pau is officially just a background singer. She is the creative head of the band. It usually starts with a ballad by her and the three of them turn it into a rock number. Pau also influences the music videos. The band name was originally planned as the title for the first album. When they registered for the first public event, they couldn't agree on a band name, so they "temporarily" used the album name. I don't play by RUclips's rules. lol. I let the entire thing run through uninterrupted, and pretty much everything gets demonetized. I use Ko-Fi to have my audience request songs for $1 each, and use that to pay for the channel expenses. I don't usually have problems with blocking, but when I do, I upload them to my Patreon for users to view there.
I don't have a problem generally with a reactor stopping the song to discuss something interesting that they find (not just to say they "like" the song!).
Their first EP and 2 albums were done independently precisely because the music industry was trying to pull the same crap you were referring to with them. They, as a family team, didn’t fall for it because they have too much integrity. It took them 7 months of negotiations with Lava Records to get the deal they wanted where they basically maintained the things that were important to them like creative control of their existing catalog and keeping their Patreon. They realized that they could only go so far as an independent band and by all accounts signing with Lava has been beneficial. Their song Unmendable is loosely about almost getting shafted by another label they were considering. They rejected several bigger offers (Disney, Simon Cowell, etc) because they wanted to change everything about them and turn them into another cookie cutter band.
Also as far as i understand, reactors don't need to worry about strikes from The Warning's content on their page as they and their team know the importance of reactors and their ability to give the band for lack of a better word free advertising/marketing, whatever you want to call it to gain new fans. It's a win-win for all parties involved.

They also played at the Latin Grammy awards back in November. They were nominated for best rock song.
