I discovered this band on Myspace back in 2007 and they have been one of my favorites ever since. Being American i have no clue what the songs are about, but damn is it fucking awesome.
I agree they are great. If I had grown up in Russia in the early 00's they would have been my band just like slipknot was when I was growing up in the USA.
This song is from the album Book Of The Dead (2006), the last album with their beloved brother and guitarist [GANG] who died of cancer in 2007. They have “re-imagined” this song in honor of their 20th anniversary, unfortunately Slava (Stop The Time) refused to participate, that’s really sad because he was a very important part of the band.
@@harvesteronenetwork1559 yes, they’ve lost a member who wrote all the music for the albums Fortune’s Always Hiding (2003), Inevitability (2004) and Book Of The Dead (2006, including the original version of Snow In Hell). He was only 23 years old when he died of cancer. This version of Snow In Hell was also in his honor, Stewart (the drummer) is holding his concert shirt with letter G in the beginning of the video. During recent anniversary concerts Igor was also performing wearing a t-shirt with letter G in his honor, also they have made a limited edition of t-shirts “G, in loving memory” all the funds from sales will be transfered to Gang’s family.
Hello from Russia, I would like to see your reaction to one of the my favorite tracks Amatory as for me the best album of 2010, namely the track "Infrerno", unfortunately there is no clip for this track, but I hope this is not a big problem for you =)
They're filming the live show tomorrow in Moscow. Not a real "live" for you but I believe they can deliver the vibe. Unfortunately they started using very many backing voice tracks. Hope that the filmed live will be an honest work.
Hey man, I don't think they reunited, their frontliner has another band with a new album (Outcast band's name). Bud you've got the point right, they're making a tour in Russia. I'd definitely attend their concert/performance if they come to US (hopefully LA or SF area, or somewhere in between =) ). Stay safe, man, thanks for your good attitude to that band, they performed like crazy back in the day (with other crew), and I hope they'll get that fame back at some point in future.

Amatory are one of the best in the world, indeed! Yesterday I was listening to their album VII, such a masterpiece!!
I think VII or book of the dead are my favorites.
Thanx man! Amatory are so underrated but they are really one of the best band in the world, indeed!
Couldn't agree more!
пойду переслушаю этот мой любимый трек с исполнении старой команды))
