After you listen to a few Priest songs, you think "Man, these guys are legends!". After you listen to their discography, you KNOW these guys are legends!
One thing I have always admired about Judas Priest is they don't have one solo that sounds the same as the other. Each song is unique and both KK and Glenn continued to get better, faster and heavier with each album they produced. Such an amazing band. Had the opportunity see them in 1990 when the Painkiller album came out and they did not disappoint.
Hard as Iron is one of my all time favorite songs. This album has 3 masterpirces: Ram it Down, Hard as Iron and Blood Red Skies. Some good songs: Monsters of Rock, Heavy Metal, Im a Rocker, Come and Get it. And some fillers. It has a good 80'es vibe. Very good twin guitar solos. And unfortunatelly the drum machine. But on the tour Dave Holland played them.
I love this album and the show in NJ was great. Electric Eye Metal Gods Sinner Breaking the Law Come and Get It I'm a Rocker The Sentinel The Ripper Beyond the Realms of Death Some Heads Are Gonna Roll Turbo Lover Ram It Down Heavy Metal Victim of Changes The Green Manalishi Living After Midnight You've Got Another Thing Comin' Hell Bent for Leather
They played Ram it Dowm, Heavy Metal, Come and Get it only on this tour. Later I'm a Rocker was played on Angel of Retribution's tour, and Blood Red Skies on Epitaph tour. They played perfectly the insane twin guitar solo of Ram it Down on live.
Although I'm not a big fan of this album, I have to admit the guitars are shredding on every track and Rob is in top form. This is definitely paving the way to Painkiller.

Then Richie came out
Judas Priest providing what we expect, quality heavy metal. Thank you for your excellent reaction.

Great stuff
Come and Get It could have been on Turbo, Hard as Iron could have been on Painkiller. Hard as Iron is just pure energy in melodic form.
My first time hearing Hard as Iron as well. It's basically the prequel to One Shot at Glory. They almost sound like the same song?
I read somewhere that Joey from Manowar wrote some of the lyrics for this album.
