    Thank you for explaining due diligence fees in detail. We moved from Washington and partnered with an inexperienced agent at the time who did not do a good job of explaining it. We learned the hard way that you don’t get that money back if you back out - something that is normal in Washington if you write in an inspection clause. It’s super important to partner with a good agent for this reason!

    How can buying a home 🏠 coming from California? Does the Loan require a permanent steady work history of two years or more in North Carolina? Or are buyers from out of state paying cash ?

      They aren’t paying cash. I came from California and didn’t pay cash. However, as this video said, they don’t use title companies here. Rather, you use real estate attorneys for the transaction. Also, unlike California you may have a conditioned crawlspace so your pipes don’t freeze. California is mostly slabs.
