I dont care what anyone says this was the best zombie car flash game ever made and it's a shame that the serie stopped but man it was the BEST game ever in my childhood.
One of the rare flash games on the internet that got a solid foundation and a damn soul thats so heavy depth. So glad i first discovered this back in 2012 for the OG game, just a year before the sequel (ROTD 2) came out at 2013. To this day? I still adore the Saga of the Dead Community that are still around today. So much time has passed but this flash game franchise still tops the cake for me. Being the best zombie flash game ever made and being equal to the Last Stand-games.
The music of both games is, yet to this day, among the best I've ever heard. It fits so well with each occasion all the tracks are presented in, the sound quality is so realistic and so well made. I still have to find quality similar to this in a game.
Moreso the Highway track, it fits so well with the fall of the National Guard. When you first get into contact with those guys...They are prepared, almost. But when you enter the highway again in the second game, you see guts leaning outside the abandoned Humvees, overrun checkpoints and an unsurmountable amount of dead soldiers, it's daunting to see such massacre of an highly prepared force. The highway IS the peak of the battle as blood keeps on staining whatever is left of the road.
