I just watched Yakamoz S-245. It's some kind of spinoff that runs at the same time. It's first season ending converges with the ending of Into the Nights second season.
I so agree with you Christian season 1 was only 6 episodes but it felt so long which was good because of the pacing of the show season 2 seemed very rushed straight out of the gate of ep 1 and they didn’t do a good enough job with the writing and story plot of season 2 which may mean that more people won’t watch it and if that’s the case we know how Netflix is they go by views and subscriber counts and how many people are watching the show so that may mean we won’t get a season 3
Just binged it all. Season one was better however, the ending is good. I would have wanted them to kill off Dominick and his mother earlier because 2 episodes was all to do with them stuck, seemed unrelated to the actual solving of the sun. The season played out a lot differently to what I had accepted. I was definitely thinking going into season 2 that they would get on at the bunker.
It annoys me since at the end of the first season the Colonel said ‘we know how to solve the problem’. They implied they now how to work around the subs radiation but nothing of season 2 followed that path. It felt more of a messy confusing fight until. The last episodes were good I just think they tried to fit in way too much conflict instead of actually having them working together. All of the fighting just seemed irrational in my opinion. 6 episodes later they are no different until when they started except the rat.
I hated how Dominic and his mother being killed off especially when we found out they were murdered yes it was just to teach them a lesson but it still was murder

Their death was really random and drawn out, though very sad. It just felt like a waste of time..not to mention the science guy built a blowtorch out of random materials ON HAND to get himself out of a closet. This season was so bad i enjoyed season 1 but nobody else is gonna comment on the zara and son dying in a stupid way at first i was like ok lets accept that they couldn't open the door because they had no tool's but then the group made a homemade blowtorch to escape through the vents and after that the soldiers had a jack hammer lying around to move a two ton jeep weird but that could have also been used for the mom and son. I really enjoyed the second season .. as much as the first season .. only real gripe was all the soldiers being painted as one dimensional assholes .. easy to hate .. no character depth
Yeah, when you look at Terenzio, the British soldiers they picked up in Kinloss, the soldiers in the bunker, and finally the Russians, you've gotta think that the writers really hate the military
Season 1 was for sure much better but season 2 was still very good (especially the last episode) even if some things didn’t make sense. They redeemed themselves with The last episode tbh. Can’t wait for season 3!
Season 2 was so stressful and frustrating. Not as good as the first season imo. I guess season 3 will revolve around that submarine. By the way they are NATO soldiers, hence the difference in nationality amongst them. I saw a Polish flag on the colonel's uniform. Others were German and Spain.
Really loved the video! Just wanted to say though that the Turkish guy that is "shot" at the end by Ayaz is most probably not dead. That actor will star in a new Turkish Netflix series about the submarine S245! I think the name of the series will be YakamozS245!
The season was a lot of fun, but every crisis really felt contrived. Nothing happened organically. The sun was no longer a direct threat so the writers were like "how many bad things can we possibly make go wrong to keep the audience hooked". That’s why they made the army guys the antagonist, which felt like lazy writing to me. I think it would have been sufficient if the story just focused on getting the seeds, and finding out who the mystery 3rd party was who bombed the planes. No need for all the extra drama. Still can't wait for S3 tho...
Amen, couldn’t have said it better myself. All these people forgot that an apocalypse happened. A lot of their fights were petty when compared to the disaster that happened to mankind
I watched this series too, imagine my surprise when the guy comes running towards Ayaz talking in Turkish saying he's a researcher with a Submarine. Next year there is a spin off series coming out staring Kivanç Tatlıtuğ, the english title should be Into The Deep but i havnt found any info except when i discovered its Turkish working title being Bir Denizalti Hikayesi(lit. A Submarine Story), apparently its going to be running concurrently with the events shown in Into The Night so we should get some good answers next year. That all said, i dont believe the Turks were involved in blowing up the airplanes, they originally suspected the USA but then assumed that since the US was too far away it couldnt be them and must be a 3rd faction which is when they first showed the Sub, i think this was done by the producers to throw the viewers off the scent of who the true villains are going to be. I still have a theory that it may be another faction at another NATO base or could be the US with their ICBM's I really cant wait for season 3 and the new spin off series 😁😁😁😁😁
It seemed obvious to me that if the Russians didn't do it, it must've been the third party on that Skype call. I barely remember any details, but I know there was a trio en communice - NATO, Russia + poor cosmonaut + one more
Why would the USA be motivated to blow up those airplanes? If it wanted the seeds in Norway, it simply would have taken them before wasting effort on blowing up grounded commercial passenger planes for no reason.
Russian mother was so sad and angry to Polish colonel when Ayaz was ordered to go on seed mission... even Laura said that she was arguing with colonel so often. I think she is kinda overprotective of her son and Ayaz since she loves him... Besides, Polish colonel Łom was my hero until Ines and Marcus told the truth about what actually happened when Zara and her son locked in that room. I really feel bad for Russian mother and her son.
8:36 I don't know if I'd agree with your team pick at the end of this review. In the beginning they were innocent survivors who got lucky to be on the plane that Terenzio hijacked. He becomes the antihero of this series. It doesn't stay that way though. One by one almost all of the cast does some villainous things out of survival like leaving Astrid behind. By the time season 2 rolls around they are all willing to do anything even murder and deceit for their own personal survival and even just out of hatred like Sylvie handcuffing Terenzio to the gate control. Season 2 showed the worst side of most of them and how duplicitous they can all be. I think it's Alba that tricks the Russians into breaking into the bunker and Gerardo was shot because of it. Ayaz, who was a little homicidal in the beginning, has gone completely psychotic by the end of season 2. Interesting team you guys have chosen. lol

Yeah now that I think about it that was weird of her to say since I’m season one she always said she didn’t want to be the leader or in control the line should have been I killed him because he was a bad man and he was against us trying to get to safety for us to live but I haven’t read the book so if that’s the way it was written in the book then I guess I get it I felt that season 2 was rushed and I know they filmed it during the pandemic which I commend them for but we know how Netflix is if people don’t watch season 2 then we won’t get a season 3 and honestly when it comes to the original cast they deserve a season 3 it was all the other actors that made season 2 suck in my opinion
I just finished season two and thanks for the video. Not too many on this crazy show. I thought having a sub show up was a brilliant move that I hadn’t really considered even though the groundwork was laid for it. What’s the old adage in TV series? If you don’t see a body you can’t assume a death? We never saw if the Norwegian that was shot at in the seed bunker actually died. That’s an open question. On the other hand this show isn’t afraid to kill characters off. Reminds me of 24 who eventually killed off many important and fan favorite characters. Finally, has this show been renewed for season 3? I’ve heard no word. Seems as if with 6 episodes at 35 minutes per episode they could have filmed all these season back to back. Hoping maybe. But if not, then has there been an official or unofficial renewal?
I don't think the bullet hit the guy or was fatal if it did. I think it was an amazing way to end the season, it leaves a lot of room to manuveur but could also be an end. Great finale.
If they can fix the plane the seeds can be used. It’s not going to happen just by using the helicopter or would take several trips if they do. Good analysts, I ❤Sophie
Are you sure there will be season 3? Who knows how Netlifx decides. But I'm looking forward to it, because there has been to many questions that I'd love to be answered.
Its a great show.. its a shame its only 6 episodes each season. we never really see him kill the guy running at him.. he may have just grazed him or whatever the writers want to happen next season. Its just a cliff hanger ending that "could have any outcome the show runners want"
Hello all so I have just watched season two on Netflix of into the night first off I’m going to tell you immediately in my opinion season one was better but Ill tell you why I feel that way season two was really good when it came to the original cast in season two the original cast that we came to know and love from season one were back to their old tricks they were kicking ass and taking names so season two was good because of them but every other character in season two did nothing for me none of the soldiers none of the ambassadors the French ambassador and the the other ambassador who was shot in the head none of them did anything for the show I just felt like they didn’t need to be their because they didn’t bring anything to the show to be honest the character Gia her being mentally unstable I understood by the end of the season why that plot was made in the book it was to keep the people there in Norway I get that but all the other characters were just no good for me they weren’t acted well enough It all seemed too rushed and the only thing I kept thinking to myself was if all these other characters were gone and it was just the original cast and maybe a few soldiers in the bunker it would’ve made it better because all the actors from season one who are in season two we’re really good so that’s my final note season two was decent season one was better mainly because the original cast was the only ones who we focused on and the rest of the cast that we focused on just were not up to the standard that the original cast brought to the show but I do hope there’s a season three
Season one was good I expected the same for season 2 but then poor writing and the woman agenda came in and spoiled it. The women in the second season were highly annoying. This season had a lot of Lucky moments. The girl being tied to a chair inside the cockpit was stupid and the ending questionable as well
@@TheRubyTuesday I can’t believe Season 2 is over, I’m ready for season 3 already! The reason the door locked on Zara & her son was so surprising too. I hate that the kill off some of the most interesting characters.
The series really went off the rails in season 2. All of the things that made season 1 interesting went away: no more threat from the sun; no more need to keep moving; a weird conversion of interesting characters with some depth into hokey action figures and McGrubers ("We have 20 seconds to make an acetylene torch. Quick - hand me that coconut shell!); selfish main characters with attitude who are ungrateful from day 1 to the NATO soldiers who took them in and saved their lives; timelines that mean nothing and therefore create no tension ("We have 15 minutes to fuel the plane twice, remove the seats, load the plane to the max with seeds and then go wheels up, so let's stand around talking about morality and whether we're doing things for the right reason!"); the worn out trope of soldiers=bad, civilians=good, without any seeming self awareness by the main characters that they themselves created chaos within the bunker through a series of stupid actions, etc. It's too bad that such an interesting first season was followed by this mess.
I really want to hurt that crazy lady, they could of taken the chairs to know down the door tho, the bad soldiers were from spain just saying, also i never did like ayaz he seems like he was up to something the whole time and his tempter was to much for me and why shoot that guy??????? they will make us wait for another year now!

Just binged watched it and boy that was frustrating to watch. Won't be hanging out for season 3.
lmao i feel you season 2 is dumb as hell she said she killed homie cuz she wanted to be leader lmfao like whatttttttttttttttttttt
Yeah now that I think about it that was weird of her to say since I’m season one she always said she didn’t want to be the leader or in control the line should have been I killed him because he was a bad man and he was against us trying to get to safety for us to live but I haven’t read the book so if that’s the way it was written in the book then I guess I get it
I felt that season 2 was rushed and I know they filmed it during the pandemic which I commend them for but we know how Netflix is if people don’t watch season 2 then we won’t get a season 3 and honestly when it comes to the original cast they deserve a season 3 it was all the other actors that made season 2 suck in my opinion
Frustrating is being kind. This show was horrible and I hate myself for watching the whole thing expecting some sanity.
exactly, first they killed terenzio and then the soldiers i mean like give me a break and i cant stand Sylvie at all...what a bitch
But if not, then has there been an official or unofficial renewal?
so has anyone seen the spin off show "An Undersea Story" I assume it follows the submarine crew?
@@srhu8717 good to know... I kept seeing the whole 8 episodes thing and was worried I had missed it
Im gonna be that guy. I seem to enjoy shows that are outside the US bias more. This was a great show.
Good bye rikk, you are a true hero
He died in vain. All they had to do was turn on the helicopter while loading it instead of waiting till the last second to figure things out.
SPOILERS
I got really frustrated when Gia was freely destroying the plane
Agree. They shouldnt have forced to bring that b*tch with them.
Guess it seemed like a good idea at the time to lock a crazy lady in the most vital part of the plane, behind a door they couldn’t open - lol.
Ayaz did a lot of overacting. He was too over the top.
Its a great show.. its a shame its only 6 episodes each season. we never really see him kill the guy running at him.. he may have just grazed him or whatever the writers want to happen next season. Its just a cliff hanger ending that "could have any outcome the show runners want"
Hello all so I have just watched season two on Netflix of into the night first off I’m going to tell you immediately in my opinion season one was better but Ill tell you why I feel that way season two was really good when it came to the original cast in season two the original cast that we came to know and love from season one were back to their old tricks they were kicking ass and taking names so season two was good because of them but every other character in season two did nothing for me none of the soldiers none of the ambassadors the French ambassador and the the other ambassador who was shot in the head none of them did anything for the show I just felt like they didn’t need to be their because they didn’t bring anything to the show to be honest the character Gia her being mentally unstable I understood by the end of the season why that plot was made in the book it was to keep the people there in Norway I get that but all the other characters were just no good for me they weren’t acted well enough It all seemed too rushed and the only thing I kept thinking to myself was if all these other characters were gone and it was just the original cast and maybe a few soldiers in the bunker it would’ve made it better because all the actors from season one who are in season two we’re really good so that’s my final note season two was decent season one was better mainly because the original cast was the only ones who we focused on and the rest of the cast that we focused on just were not up to the standard that the original cast brought to the show but I do hope there’s a season three
And the soldiers were doing just fine until our idiot protagonists came along and created chaos.
I waited for this along time
Terenzio deserves better.
I loved this show.
Do you guys know any great similar shows?
Have you seen the submarine series that runs at the same time as into the night. It's on Netflix
is the sun back to normal?
Apparently not, since it (thankfully) killed the crazy lady in the cockpit.
Season one was good I expected the same for season 2 but then poor writing and the woman agenda came in and spoiled it. The women in the second season were highly annoying. This season had a lot of Lucky moments. The girl being tied to a chair inside the cockpit was stupid and the ending questionable as well
Oh Ines....
I honestly can’t believe they killed Zara & her son!
I expected them to do it in season one to be honest.
It’s Zara’s fault she was doing to much she got her son killed by doing to much could have just told him to come out the room
@@TheRubyTuesday I can’t believe Season 2 is over, I’m ready for season 3 already! The reason the door locked on Zara & her son was so surprising too. I hate that the kill off some of the most interesting characters.
It took way too long to kill them off. Wasted screen time.
So ı am the one who dont miss terenzio.
Why did the russians try to kill the passengers?
Terenzio was best actor !
It seems like the Turkish hit both Russian and Nato bases??
Jup and I think That ayaz will switch sides and join the Turks because he is a Turk
Whoever did it apparently did it for no reason, and didn’t even try to recover the seeds. WTF?
I really want to hurt that crazy lady, they could of taken the chairs to know down the door tho, the bad soldiers were from spain just saying, also i never did like ayaz he seems like he was up to something the whole time and his tempter was to much for me and why shoot that guy??????? they will make us wait for another year now!
Agree. They shouldnt have forced to bring that b*tch with them.
Forcing your way into a cockpit has been pretty difficult since 9/11
Into the night season 2 is shit as... too many shit characters I don't even understand.
The season was horrible kill rik and terrenzio a big mistake
the sub launched two missiles , one to each airport / the two series intertwine/ yakamoz s 245
