When I was a trucker, as a woman who didn't eat near as much as the guys, I had to pay way too much for my buffet food because they ate so much. I would smuggle biscuits out in my pockets. NOT talking about fantastic truck stops like Iowa 80, MAIN CHAIN trucker buffets from best to not so good: 1) Petro, 2) Flying J, then 3) TA. I was particularly fond of the Joplin 44 Petro. Anywhere near the South, there was always kick ass barbeque, catfish, okra and sweet tea.
