    Come, all you no hopers,
    You jokers and rogues
We're on the road to nowhere,
Let's find out where it goes
It might be a ladder to the stars, who knows
    Come, all you no hopers,
    You jokers and rogues.
Leave all your furrows in the fields where they lie
    Your factories and offices;
    Kiss them all goodbye
Have a little faith in the dream maker in the sky
    There's glory in believing him
And it's all in the beholder's eye.
Turn off your engines and slow down your wheels
Suddenly your master plan loses its appeal
Everybody knows that this reality's not real
So raise a glass to all things past and celebrate how good it feels.
Awash on the sea of our own vanity
We should rejoice in our individuality
Though it's gale force, let's steer a course for sanity

With everything negative in the world these days...you guys are flying the flag for what truly matters. Keep doing you thing and shout from the rooftops your positive message.
The history behind these shanties is very humble and honest. I believe we need to stop thinking about material shit and focus on our fellow man and what it means to be a decent human being!!!!! Thank you Fishermans Friends !!!!!!!!

I know plenty of people call the US the greatest nation ever, but honestly when we look past politics, military and economy, its Britain. It has so much faith and good cheer and is willing to spread it to others. But ultimately we aren't seperate nations, we're all a single people, children of God and this song is what we all need to look back and remember what truely remembers. Thanksgiving is coming up and maybe you'll remember this song and think on what you have, your faith, your home, your family and be thankful for it all and maybe you'll be thankfull to these singers in Britain for giving us this song to help us remind us of what truely matters.

I got here randomly and how fitting is that!
It’s like my wondering spirit attracts this stuff. That n algorithms.
37 now, lived in Australia for 2 years driving half way around working the land n stuff. Built a bed in my 4x4.
Lived in NZ for a few years too and moved out to the Canadian Prairies for 4 years. Hit the road up obviously, John Denver playing double obviously.
Been to 50 something countries, some by luck, others accidentally. Had an 1 of 2 engines go on my plane and we bailed out in Iceland.
Writing this because I’ve lost my sweet, Welsh Grandmother a few days ago. She was a traveller at heart, different times mind. Different affordability.
I come back to the UK to settle down, every part of my soul belong on the road, wondering, exploring, feeling. Trying hard to keep my head down but I am my Nan, restless.
The road makes my heart kinder, wish I had the courage to except that’s were I belong.

My wife and I had the absolute privilege to take our 8 month old son to Cornwall on our first ever family holiday last week and staying at Penpethy Holiday Cottages (which we recommend) we couldn't not visit the beautiful Port Isaac. My father was St. Agnes born and raised so as a child I am blessed to have spent many family holidays in the Duchy but it was a special moment to show my new family around the place. We would love to see you sing live at some point
