I met Ozil on a bus to Granada in October 2018 with his infant daughter. He's a really nice guy. Very open and relaxed. I wish him the best in future. Had a great chat with him for 2 hours, the journey flew. My 9 year old who was eavesdropping in the seat behind reminds me of his name when I forget. One thing that Ozil said to me that resonated was that he was constantly surprised in the west at how upset people get at fairly inconsequential things like a bus being ten minutes late. While growing up in India he told me he had seen some terrible things that put all these 1st world problems into perspective.
I met him in Madison, Wisconsin with Lama Zopa when he was 3...fast forward 20 years. "I left the monastary. I didn't even know what a discotheque was," paraphrase. I wonder where he is now?
Who knows about this rebirth stuff, the highest teachings of vajrayana tell us to see ALL PHENOMENON as illusion, empty and actually are rigpa or awareness itself ,not separated from consciousness.
Doesn't really make much sense I think not to have a girlfriend etc because you are worried about problems.The Buddha teaches us how to deal with problems.Life is full of problems, with or without a female partner in it.A problem shared is a problem halved.Two are better than one,if one falls the other can pick you up.

He is teaching Dharma, specialy in Alpujarra region where there is tbe first Vajrayana Buddhist temple built in Spain in 1978!
