Quick little tip for some QoL. You can fast travel to Teshin, or any syndicate for that matter, from the syndicate menu in your orbiter. This is most useful for turning in Vitus essence imo

*Tip for Infested Disruption* : DO NOT MOD FOR VIRAL. Infested Demolishers are immune to viral procs and demolisher juggernauts are also immune to viral damage itself. Mod for gas instead.
@@isaacbored Gas is shit in most cases, not all. There are 4 types of infested demolishers. Only 1 of them has Ferrite armor (Demolisher Juggernaut), the rest only has the infested health type (+75% gas), and juggernaut also has the infested health type. You might want to bring a second weapon with corrosive for the Juggernaut, though (with gas and corrosive, if you can. Kuva Seer, Cyanex and Zakti Prime can do both, for example)
@@isaacbored gas is good against infested,cloned flesh and, oddly enough, robotics, and in general if you can group up enemies so you have multiple damaging each other from their own gas procs. In low level missions you can turn your non-AoE weapons into AoE ones with enough status chance and a powerful gas proc.
As an ex-veteran and now casual WF player I miss the WWYU videos. It'd be good to know in which weapons you think we should put our steel essences on, for instance. And general guidelines for modding in the current meta.
Prefarming info is out of date. You cannot get 450 relics on the day prime access drops from steel essence any more. You can get a maximum of 25 relic packs that day for 75 relics, and not just that day, but for that week.

I'm so glad they moved to the Prime Resurgence system as opposed to unvaulting two frames one every three months. With the amount of primes there are now, it really wasn't sustainable...
I kinda just wish they went to 3 frames, every 3 months. I feel like relic earning in the old system was more passive. As well as the prime vault being a better deal than buying regal aya.
While I agree, there is still the concern that its gonna be a very long time before it loops back around even still. With how many frames they have, they should do three or even four frames per month available in resurgence, and they'll need to highly consider increasing even that as they go on.
Best advice, "Don't give us. You can get EXTREMELY unlucky but you just have to try and try again." Took me 20 relics to get a rare once with all of them fully refined
@@Vaz_G I must be doing something wrong. Been running Titania on Ukko capture for days now. Got like 5 R5 Mesos out of nearly 60+ missions. All radiant all missed. Mostly commons. Had some saved up from random mission as well (~15) all radiant all missed.
@@Vaz_G there is no way in hell he would open 20 relics with squad and not get the part. From how it feels the rare drop you should expect in 4-5 relic spent in 4b4, even more in 2b2 or 1b1. Some days you will get them every run and some days you burn through 6-7 relics in 4b4 and not get it. That's just RNG and nothing else affects it.
Have I ever told you the definition of insanity? I keep seeing these people complaining how unlucky they get opening relics over and over and over again, instead of ditching this lootbox simulator. Go grind plat and buy these prime parts with the plat you earned through much more consistent and effective means. Anything in current rotation unless newly added will be dirt cheap, even the good stuff. You will be much better off doing zaramon content for arcanes, or arbi for kuva if you are into rolling rivens, it's like more profitable relic opening because while it's also lootbox sim you need to know a lot about how the game works and how modding works to price your rivens well and not skip amazing rolls, which is uncommon in the community hence it gets more profitable. Lastly you can just do endo farm in SP arena. Just spending 30m doing the arena with decent squad can generate you 100-150p of profit if you spend the endo well and that's not even assuming you will be a scumbag and offer the mod at 200% of the market price in the Trade chat.
There's ways to stretch your syndicate standing and get more. When you drop below a rank you start maxed out at the lower tier. Buy more packs. Drop below again. Buy more. This takes some thinking, medallions, and use of your daily standing to cleverly walk down the tiers, but it helps you stretch your syndicate standing much much further.
As for the stocking up on Syndicate rep, you can stock up 4 syndicates by using the +50% bonus rep from the middle syndicates (I think the max is actually 5, but that requires some serious juggling). Not saying it's worth doing it, although I would say that having 4 syndicates unlocked at rank 5 is worthwhile and way better than just having 2 - you can get all the augments and most of the archwing weapon parts without any trading at all.
Also with relic packs you can max out your syndicates, and if you do the 4, at 120k standing that's 24 relic packs at max standing at R5 for four syndicates.
For the syndicate missions I run it with 1 other person and we both have the life support ship that marks special items. I use mine in the beginning and he uses his where the last one marked is and we find all 8 in about the same amount of time it takes to clear the mission. 😊
When it comes to the Syndicates you can actually get 4 maxed out, not 3. Let's say you start Red Veil, get it to rank 5 by just grinding Red Veil, then switch to New Loka and grind that which will also give standing to Perrin sequence. With this method you have to juggle between Red Veil and New Loka (50/50 split) to keep the Steel Meridians at same standing, but once you max out on New Loka and Perrin sequence you can do Red Veil exclusively and as long as you don't skip to New Loka you can get that standing to max even with Steel Meridian without lowering New Loka or Perrin sequence. If you want to make most standing every day and don't care about min maxing this which I can't blame you, 2 is max you can keep your daily standing efficiency, which means only pledging to 1 and getting bonus from the ally. Pledging to 2nd faction only gives you option to bank up on more standing if your main one is full, it doesn't actually lower your standing gain if you do only your main faction. Also you can get even more banked up standing by buying up relics from Steel Meridian and then play New Loka to get Steel Meridian to lower rank which opens up another 99k standing you can spend into even more relics. By just playing Red Veil exclusively you will restore it eventually. Btw New Loka is by far the best choice to main, because the Ancient guardian specter will grant every ally 90% DMG reduction. You cannot trade for these and the blueprints are not infinite uses for some reasons so if you don't go with New Loka, get rank 1 at least to buy some 100-200 bps. They're great in the long survival SP missions and arbitrations.
I wouldn't recommend syndicate medallion farming as _primary_ means of pre-farming relics, but if you have a good box breaker frame, like Limbo or Xaku, a Golden Instinct subsumed to one of the slots, and the Orokin Eye air support (from the Parallax lander), it doesn't take that much longer to pick up every medallion on the map compared to just running through the mission. It's still less efficient than Steel Essence farming, but it's a different kind of grind. Sometimes, you want a less action, more treasure hunt sort of farm, which this is perfect for. Just to break things up, basically. Also, on that note, while it doesn't make a huge difference, it's easy enough to maintain 132k standing in 4 factions by running Steel Meridian and Cephalon Suda. Just watch your Red Veil standing when gaining standing with Suda. Filling 120k standing you need for 6 relic packs takes 4 daily caps for high MR players. You have to do that 6 times to get 120k with 4 factions. (Twice to fill Red Veil, twice to fill Arbiters, and twice more to re-fill Red Veil.) If you did your various other farms for 24 days out of 90 between primes, congratulations. You get 24 free packs (72 relics total) for just switching to the correct syndicate before you do all your other farming. Steel Essence might be the king, but it doesn't make other farming methods irrelevant. It adds up.
Excellent video but i would like to add if your a filthy console player (like me) loading times may cause the capture missions to take longer than just camping the mars disruption. You can farm mesos by playing well or liths if you only save one of the four targets which makes it much faster but also much more difficult as you have to deal with up to 2 negatives per round.
Worth noting that you can cash in syndicate standing for relic packs. It's not the fastest but I got baruk exclusively doing this (plus whatvere random relics I got).
Imo the best way to crack relics for newer players is to do survival or defense in public, not only are you getting xp to lv weapons and stacks of resources on top of cracking relic you could have someone like me who has old relics might crack one and can be lucky to get a prime part for something thats ben vaulted for a year or so

Usually I get my primes by freeloading like a biiiitch. If I miss one, I end up passively accumulating the relics over time and then farming them once the PA has moved on.
It’s not freeloading as long as you have a relic up. I do not mind queuing up with randoms and burning some of my radiant relics if I want a particular part. At the very least I might get unlucky and choose your drop because I always need forma or ducats. If I decide to throw up my own Radiants that’s my own fault. And I want everyone to be able to get good shit. It’s a team based game ❤️ so many people forget that.

Regarding open world rep: After a recent patch, Fortuna rep is quite easy to get, easier than Cetus in my experience. I'm not talking about ranking up, which is still haunted by that gruesome bond issue, but within a tier, conservation is now very quick and efficient.
I just really started to farm relics and stuff in wf and i wish i looked up a guide before I did, was farming gara prime just to find out I can't get her blueprint cause it's vaulted😭. Oh and great vid
If running a 4 man team. I find it best to do 4 runs with one person running the radiant while the others burn a relic they have duplicates of. Gives the same chance of getting the item, but gives the chance of getting multiples.
The chance of getting a rare drop from 1 relic is the same as from 4 relics Adding the 4 relics together doesn't give you a 40% chance As each relic is still unlocked, opened and rolled individually. Each player unlocks their relic with the same 10% chance for that rare, but what opening with 4 gives you is more opportunities for one player to be lucky and get the high roll. Instead of just 1 opportunity solo.

15:12 so just lately I’ve been running into people doing defence missions to open relics (when it’s the only mission type opening the relic you need you do what you must😢) that have been getting carried away with trying to complete the mission as fast as they can and are killing waves before they have time to become corrupted and drop reactant meaning we all fail to open the relic (luckily we get them back) it’s gotten to the point I’ll just go have a brake if I see that’s the only mission type as I know players can’t be trusted to pay attention to the reason their doing the mission in the first place.
I don't think I've ever ran relics in a radsharded group. Do you have to spam it in chat or in a specific channel? It's always funny that you have to go outside of the game to get answers. :P

I'm a returning player (MR22, so im still quite kitted out) who has never really paid attention to the relic system. If I wanted to farm a vaulted prime item (eg mag prime) with about 10-20 relics worth for each part, would I still be able to obtain the parts (based on luck)? Or is it more of just a case where I would rarely be able to find a squad because other players wouldnt have or be able to share any of those relics with me. Also there are a huge number of relics able to be farmed from this video. Is this mainly catered to those who want to sell for plat/ducats as compared to those who just want a certain prime item? This video was quite helpful so far but there are still some things I am not super sure on. EDIT: and while im at vaulted stuff can someone also explain to me how prime resurgence and aya work
So aya is the currency for resurgent relics and some other stuff. It can be farmed in the open worlds(so Plains, Vallas, and Deimos, with tier 5 Deimos being the most efficient as far as getting aya but all of them are decent), the void(lower drop rates but still possible and you get relics), and from relic packs(instead of getting a relic). Prime resurgence changes monthly and focuses on two prime packs each time. Hope this helps
I have tried teamups to open relics. My recruitment teams always fall apart on host migration. Rip. So I have to go into relic missions and let the game match me to people that can hold together with decent ping.
Does anyone have any advice on modding/using the Redeemer Prime? It's a weapon I have and very much want to use, but I just can't wrap my head around it.
I would not rate spy nearly as high on the list for efficient openings anymore... lately I've been struggling with spy's because enough corrupted enemies just don't spawn and in a random group it's impossible... everyone goes to their own vault, which yes, that is most efficient for spy missions in general it screws up the spawns on the map. Especially if your using a stealth frame to run through the mission. Don't do this if u do spy at all, or at least don't invis until your at the vault and go as a group from one vault to another killing enemies otherwise you will get done and with them and one person will have 8 one have 2 and another 4 and you'll have 0 cause the corrupted spawned around the first player, not you.... and then your just running around in circles with all the enemies dead trying to retrace the other players steps to collect from their corrupted spawns.... rediculius... highly suggest almost any other type if your running with random people.....
I avoid spy missions whenever they appear too many layouts to remember too many variables corrupted enemies spawning while hacking groups not being very good or quitting etc etc and noone plays railjack anymore too long and some real garbage game modes and failures wasting all your progress Also crew AI is utterly broken don’t defend ship don’t complete outside objectives
Yeah, that's the main issue with railjack. I always have to think whether I should rather stop at the dojo between missions, because I had missions fail because the targets failed to spawn, which resulted in losing nearly all the rewards of all the missions from before. But stopping at the dojo takes too long, so there's that.

You're never an "ex" veteran, that status stays with you forever even if you take a break or play less frequently.

the t2 profit taker bounty is also a really good relic farm. its always a rad and you can do that bounty in under 2 mins.

the AlecaFrame overlay from Overworlf is a god saver for me for farming relics
I think you forgot to also add cracking relics in SP fissures grants 1 SE per relic cracked.

Regarding open world rep: After a recent patch, Fortuna rep is quite easy to get, easier than Cetus in my experience. I'm not talking about ranking up, which is still haunted by that gruesome bond issue, but within a tier, conservation is now very quick and efficient.
Definitely. Capping Leg2 standing with conservation takes 5-10 min. Meanwhile, Deimos takes 20-40 min doing mother bounties.

If running a 4 man team. I find it best to do 4 runs with one person running the radiant while the others burn a relic they have duplicates of. Gives the same chance of getting the item, but gives the chance of getting multiples.
Radstaggers are so much more time consuming than radshares

Mirage 4 with aug can run exterminate/ capture missions fast as the disco ball will follow you and you can just run thro mission fast as possible
Yes but you have to constantly recast it because of the disputable duration on that ability. Tbh I only use her with her SOH augment
The chance of getting a rare drop from 1 relic is the same as from 4 relics
Adding the 4 relics together doesn't give you a 40% chance
As each relic is still unlocked, opened and rolled individually.
Each player unlocks their relic with the same 10% chance for that rare, but what opening with 4 gives you is more opportunities for one player to be lucky and get the high roll. Instead of just 1 opportunity solo.
It gives more opportunities for all players to be lucky since you can just pick each others rolls but yes

Yeah there should really be a small icon over the vaulted relics in the UI to connote this. Would be so helpful

15:12 so just lately I’ve been running into people doing defence missions to open relics (when it’s the only mission type opening the relic you need you do what you must😢) that have been getting carried away with trying to complete the mission as fast as they can and are killing waves before they have time to become corrupted and drop reactant meaning we all fail to open the relic (luckily we get them back) it’s gotten to the point I’ll just go have a brake if I see that’s the only mission type as I know players can’t be trusted to pay attention to the reason their doing the mission in the first place.

I don't think I've ever ran relics in a radsharded group. Do you have to spam it in chat or in a specific channel? It's always funny that you have to go outside of the game to get answers. :P

I'm a returning player (MR22, so im still quite kitted out) who has never really paid attention to the relic system. If I wanted to farm a vaulted prime item (eg mag prime) with about 10-20 relics worth for each part, would I still be able to obtain the parts (based on luck)? Or is it more of just a case where I would rarely be able to find a squad because other players wouldnt have or be able to share any of those relics with me. Also there are a huge number of relics able to be farmed from this video. Is this mainly catered to those who want to sell for plat/ducats as compared to those who just want a certain prime item? This video was quite helpful so far but there are still some things I am not super sure on.
EDIT: and while im at vaulted stuff can someone also explain to me how prime resurgence and aya work
So aya is the currency for resurgent relics and some other stuff.
It can be farmed in the open worlds(so Plains, Vallas, and Deimos, with tier 5 Deimos being the most efficient as far as getting aya but all of them are decent), the void(lower drop rates but still possible and you get relics), and from relic packs(instead of getting a relic).
Prime resurgence changes monthly and focuses on two prime packs each time.

I have tried teamups to open relics. My recruitment teams always fall apart on host migration. Rip. So I have to go into relic missions and let the game match me to people that can hold together with decent ping.

I would not rate spy nearly as high on the list for efficient openings anymore... lately I've been struggling with spy's because enough corrupted enemies just don't spawn and in a random group it's impossible... everyone goes to their own vault, which yes, that is most efficient for spy missions in general it screws up the spawns on the map. Especially if your using a stealth frame to run through the mission. Don't do this if u do spy at all, or at least don't invis until your at the vault and go as a group from one vault to another killing enemies otherwise you will get done and with them and one person will have 8 one have 2 and another 4 and you'll have 0 cause the corrupted spawned around the first player, not you.... and then your just running around in circles with all the enemies dead trying to retrace the other players steps to collect from their corrupted spawns.... rediculius... highly suggest almost any other type if your running with random people.....

I avoid spy missions whenever they appear too many layouts to remember too many variables corrupted enemies spawning while hacking groups not being very good or quitting etc etc and noone plays railjack anymore too long and some real garbage game modes and failures wasting all your progress Also crew AI is utterly broken don’t defend ship don’t complete outside objectives
Yeah, that's the main issue with railjack. I always have to think whether I should rather stop at the dojo between missions, because I had missions fail because the targets failed to spawn, which resulted in losing nearly all the rewards of all the missions from before. But stopping at the dojo takes too long, so there's that.
