There is something satisfying about Olympus point and shoot cameras that gives you some confidence it'll make a half decent reproduction of the view you've just snapped. 👍
Don't have a case any more, but I did pay around £100 if my recollection is correct. Bought mine new back in 1984, as it is small enough to conceal in a 20 pack of Benson & Hedges. Something sometimes useful when you want to have a camera with you in the military. Never used it that much, as never did have to deploy very much during my time in the 80's RAF. So mostly just used the SLRs I had. Still I do still have the XA2, and have started using it again.
I have a XA2, but my favorite is the Minox 35 ML and the Leica Minilux, the Minox because you can operate it very fast with one hand for candid photography, the Minilux because it go the best Lens of ALL compact analog Cameras with a fixed Lens.
@@adamblack9837 I used it a lot, but since 2007 I have only used digital Cameras, I was never happy about all the chemicals involved in analog Photography, too much pollution.
I’ve had a couple of Minox ML’s, sadly fallen out of love with them now, both had shutter problems, eventually got bored of sending them off for repairs and developed a film where half the shots were blank.
Great camera. Took it on a trip to Italy and it is the perfect compact point & shoot for busy trips running around from museum to museum.

That’s definitely the case with this camera.
I didn’t change the way I was shooting once and the camera handled it excellently.

Thank you for this awesome and honest review! I so appreciated and enjoyed your sense of humour 😁
Love the pics:)
This video was so dry, it properly cracked me up. Thank you!
Best review of the XA2 I've seen - hilarious and informative. Well done. Keep up the vids. Beautiful shots by the way.
"Why can't people just take that as a compliment?" HAHAH I died!
Shut the clam if you don't want it to fire off early mate.
Just received one of these beauties as a gift. This video makes me feel like the luckiest man in my apartment complex. Thanks for that.
It’s a superb camera. Enjoy it.
the 8:44 picture stole my heart

That Leica’s beautiful. I’d love to try it myself one day.

What kind of battery did you put inside ? Is it working with LR44 ?
What liquid did you use to clean the camera body? Cheers
Some white vinegar on a cotton bud works as a nice degreaser.
You merely have to think about shooting and it shoots
I lost a whole roll of film this way.
I want that calculator!
You did good for 40 dollars
I don't normally get excited over calculators, but this one...
