My First Visit To RAMSGATE - I Was TOTALLY SURPRISED!

This was my first visit to Ramsgate in Kent and it totally took me by surprise - it is the last town of the big Thanet trinity I had not visited previously. Situated on the coast just round the corner from Margate and next to Broadstairs, this is the place to go if you’re looking for a day trip or a short break. In this 4K walking tour I’ll be taking you along the seafront, taking in the views and showing you all the things to see and do in this picturesque seaside town.
Walk with me as I explore the spectacular sandy beach, the world’s LARGEST Wetherspoon pub, the quirky waterfront bars and coffee shops, the old wartime tourist attraction Ramsgate Tunnels, and most famously the Royal Harbour - the only Royal Harbour in the UK with hundreds of boats, stunning views across the Marina and great walks down both piers, one has a lighthouse at the end, and a restaurant on the end of the other. Finally I walk along the chalky west cliffs with beautiful views over towards Deal and Dover. There really is something to do for all of the family, whatever the weather.
