For those haters out there that don’t even practice any martial arts I say of course it will not happen this way or the way you practice it! Practicing techniques give the martial artist extra tools in his tool box! Practicing sharpens the mind and muscle memory, if you’ve never been in a knife fight then there really is no point to your comments if you doubt that martial arts will not help in a life and death scenario where knives are involved.
the secret there is the control of the opponent's attack elbow. it's quite difficult for him to change the attack hand. before he do that his neck is already cut.
I truly appreciate the knowledge and technique. Im interested in seeing self defense scenarios with knife accounting for self defense/assault laws in different places.
Is there any kind of national roster of teachers here in the US? My lil one is half Filipino and I always encourage "know thyself " especially when it's their ethnic heritage. Beautiful & deadly 💯 respect to the Filipino ppl ❤
It's all nice to know these techniques but the fight is over long before anything like this gets used the real fight is over in 1 or 2 exchanges and it's done in a blink
I tried on my 6 footer stronger than me buddy and i failed badly because i could not get him to move at all...i will try fleeing as fast and as far as i could which i am more confident. Selamat and mabuhay.😅
I’ve always been saying “wherever the head goes the body follows” when trying to teach new members in Jujitsu and I can’t believe he has the same mentality. But I say that so they can control their opponents, because if the body doesn’t follow the head it now becomes far more lethal than generally needed. That in turn is too advanced for newer members who might try this on family and friends.
It happens in a split second. Also he's in control of the elbow as you can see, he's not letting go of the guy's elbow so he won't be able to swing that arm to stab. Before you even think of stabbing back, bloods already squirting from your sliced neck. Kali is for combat with the goal to kill enemies swift and fast. It's not for street or sports fighting.
Don't go and fight with someone with a knife. It is proven that even the highest trained fighter can't survive with a knife attacker without serious injury. Running is the best choice if you don't have any weapons.
I can't take them seriously Whenever I see Filipino because I remember a guy who say. (All my fellow Filipinos, now this is side my side, listen look listen and learn.) 😅😅 you will get it if you have watch it.😂😂
Everytime this videos comes up, geniuses like this guy always need to flex how ignorant they are. Why do you think Fire or Earthquake drills exist? Why do you think every trainee starts in a bootcamp? It's because when people are in a high stress/tense situation, chances are they freeze up or don't know what to do. That's why you train your body and muscles in repetitive movement so that when adrenaline kicks in, your body moves faster then your mind. No one knows what happens in real life knife fights but if a stabber does that same angle of attack, your body will automatically react as such.
Self defense training are stuff that you invest so much time, commitment, and effort, hoping that you won't have to use it. But when the time comes, your body will know how to move.
You don't wanna fight anybody with a knife, but ESPECIALLY not someone who knows what they're doing with it
I say, this is really good to know!! You never know what the day brings your way.
Filipino are the best ...
Excellent...

You have to teach this tech for humble human only not in social media.

Great techniques! Pugay👊 🇵🇭
Thanks G-d It Is not necessary in Italy.
Just curious what to do about his other arm..
what if the attacker just extends that right arm down? wouldn't that just stab his legs?
Very impressive
Was that guy supposed to be armed also? All he had to do was stab you the whole time.

That's right. Always away.
NICE 👌
🤯wow...
He says where the head goes, the body follows.
Not if it comes off, though.
This is so funny as if the person with the knife will make his arm limp.
Magaling si bolo yeung mula pa noon😂
First thing you have to accept about knife fighting. Your going to get cut. Your going to bleed. The trick is to bleed less than the other person
❤❤❤
Okay.
😊
You get stabbed once , it’s game over.
Who is being cut though? I hope its my grand mums chicken😂😂😂… they make it sound so casual😂😂😂
Run
Nice to see in demonstration but in actual fight you can not just disarm the person with the knife.
Won’t work against my lightsaber 😂
Excuse me, you forgot to disarm your opponent first before going thru all those wonderful tricks
Excuse me ? This guy is already minced meat , it's all about the effort of keeping hime alive 😂.
Dam first now I have to practice breaking boards so I can control a man using a knife on me

This would defeat Judo and Jujitsu opponents very easily. They would be dead in a second.
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Galing tlaga ni sen: bong go😅
Same Techniques in the Show SEE

Où sinon vous pouvez utiliser des baguettes
Why you need the hook after the cutthroat 😂😂😂
Looks like the guy in black could’ve stabbed him right after he releases his arm
Fantasy..
Can't the bottom guy just stab you
My friend die of knife while driving
Teaching how to be a killer not on humble defense..
it is not about destroying , it is about surviving to someone determined
You're misinterpreting the video.
@@scottrobson4097 who?
And any of these advices will drive any rightful defender deep in Prison for the next 10-25 years.
Not applicable in real fight😢
Seems not logic.
The guy can hit meanwhile the knife with his knife into the teacher's left leg or in stomach..
LaPu LaPu started itall
Step 0, prepare to bleed.
When your knife is on his neck. His hand is free to jab into your stomach
doesn't work like that in real life 😭

here comes the resident Rambo of the comments section
Filipino martial arts are notorious for being effectively used in real life, especially with the military
You can't use this skill to kill nowaday.
Now all you need is an enemy or opponent who stand like a Dummy.
In america we don’t hook. Just keep stabbing
