Technically it was a B-side so it's classed as the Self-titled album I guess.
Yeah. They were the tracks they didn't decide to showcase as the self titled album, but they did say in their documentary that it was hard to choose
just Demons or Crossroads... or maybe Flash of the Blade honoring Iron Maiden
It's not technically a record... It's a compilation of B-Sides that didn't make it onto any of their records because they weren't up to par. It's nice that they released them, but you can't classify it as one of their studio albums.
I wish they would play again Darkness Surrounding live.
Darkness Surrounding is by far The Rev's most difficult and technical drumming. Tempo changes all over, polyrhythms, reckless overplaying, non-stop drumming from beginning to end. What an absolutely nuts hidden-gem of this band.

Well, 2 things. 1, I am glad they are getting back to playing their old songs (Which they need to keep doing). 2, we all miss his old voice (Such as the screaming).
He wants to preserve his voice to sing longer.
He can still scream, he just refuses to. It's annoying, lol.

For example Second Heartbeat, he screams even better than in the 2003.
If I'm not mistaken, he just said that he doesn't scream bc the songs that they play don't use it lol(I mean, he said that he just don't scream).
And yeah, the scream that he has now it's healthy(Not like the older one), but anyway if he was on tour for almost 3 years, your voice will definitely need a rest, no matter the technique you use xD

Well, I like much more his voice now, because it's more controlled and his rasp voice and screams are well executed; and still, he can sound just like when he was younger xD

If you are saying that bc of his throat issue that he had in 2018, it was just that, a vocal blister, he has to recover(Albeit I think that he's recovered now); I'm taking about his regular voice; he has a better and controlled sound which he can use to scream or to rasp his voice in an incredible way, check out Gunslinger in 2016(imo in some shows he sang it better than in the lbc) or Afterlife, So Far Away, Second Heartbeat or Angels.
@@NUKCYNDv I saw them live in 2016. I was at the Bonner Springs show where they stopped in the middle of Gunslinger because a guy got knocked out. It sounded terrible compared to the earlier shows I've seen.

Not just a show, bc they've always had better shows than others, even in his early days(Like in 2003 or some concerts in 2008), that's normal, sometimes you are in a better condition than other days or the other way around.
