I’m thinking on the second game. You could have inked tomatoa so you had more control options and you would have probably drawn a second one by the time you wanted to use it
1st oppo most likely saw they had victory, but wanted some more gameplay. In mirror matches it's fun to do an arms-race, and perhaps he liked both of you do/show some more.
I know, but I just had to use those game for the video, they really showed how quickly this deck could close games if given the chance, and these were in fact the worst games haha
Its a bit differnt but running grandma talla and belle swems like a natural fit. Espeacllly if you want to go saphiee amaythist and draw all the cards.
I know this card benefits the opponent before it benefits yourself, but friend like me can ramp you up fast enough to play your tomatoa and dime pretty early. Floodborn Queen of hearts and Aurora shift in on turn 3 and can sing it, you start turn 4 with 6 ink and can ink to have 7 that turn. Early Be prepared can board wipe against aggro players.

It’s kinda funny how they almost beat you with your strategy. You can’t help it when an opponent beats themselves.

Can't you use the dime on tamatoa when you first play him while he is drying?

Might be worth to find room for more ramp and belle, since Dime can generate 5 lore with her too.
I think Belle is a build around card for the dime, just like Tamatoa, but because tamatoa needs so many items finding the ramp can be tricky
