I ordered from Survive Knives but never got the product that was stated as ready to ship. No response to any emails at any point. Had to start the refund through my card issuer and was thinking to go the legal route. Card issuer refunded and I guess started the legal process on their behalf. I will NEVER order or have anything to do with Survive Knives in the future. Their name is burned forever.

I ordered a Survive! Knife in March 2016 and i recieved the knife August 2021. 5 ½ years...
Come on guys!!! Every time I ask them when I get the knife, they say soon.
They lied and lied to their customers for many years, they kept coming up with new excuses.
They closed comments in there Instagram channel for years.
They got banned on Bladeforums. There are a lot of customers (hundreds or thousands)
who are in the same situation and talk about it on Blade Forums and elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm sure that's it. It does suck waiting years for a knife, can't get a refund or any response, and then you see Guy sending knives to different channels to hype up his product and drive more orders. The story with Survive is one full of lies and theft. @@brr8888

If you want to feather stick don't use a kiln dry lumber. Grab a green branch and feathers will fly.

Thought you don’t want wet wood

@peterbiltknifeguy Dry wood , wet don't curl . Get a nice dry long piece of cedar for learning feathersticks. Dry poplar is good too, but grain direction is important.
Wet wood just stands up no curls and makes ya frustrated.
Trick to feathering is locking your wrist, find the edge by pulling the wood with the other hand . Once your able to get feathers that way then learn to use your main arm...
      Just my opinion.

Pre-ordered a GSO-4 in 2021, still no knife. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Do a quick search for Survive knives and "hall of shame". Survive is one for the ages. It's a comedy/tragedy/crime story like no other.

There is no such thing as a free knife. The knife is the payment to shill.
