- In this video, I go over some of the explanations of why Fortnite released Fortnite Reload which is a mini OG map as a permanent gamemode. And why it is not doing as well as it's older version when Fortnite had a whole season of OG.

Reload came out a time where ch5 s3 was not liked and it came out on the 2nd day of Summer as Summer officially started on June 21st and it came out during a chaotic season and Reload also fits the theme of the season being chaos but instead of vehicle chaos it is weapon chaos and it is permanent and has received updates it got its 1st lootpool update almost a month later and that was because Epic were on their Summer break but then Reload got another update which I think came last Monday or Tuesday being a Reload Zero Build update where the Mythic Goldfish can one shot I think it was only in Zero Build so that the sweats playing Reload Build don't complain to nerf the Mythic Goldfish just cause it one shots I mean the Mythic Goldfish is rare to find in Reload anyway but that's just so it doesn't feel like everyone has a Mythic Goldfish as mythics are supposed to be quite rare especially since they are the best weapons and Reload's next lootpool update will hopefully be on August 6th and Reload is just so much more fun than BR I think Reload might have it's own update schedule so if Reload gets a lootpool update on August 6th that would mean Reload would get updated with the other modes which would mean it could get its own update schedule sometimes Reload also could have seasons and a map change for Reload is coming in the future and it'll be the ch1 s5 desert biome and this could mean Reload will get its 1st season with the map change meaning Reload's 1st season may be desert themed or just ch1 s5 themed meaning it would unvault weapons and items that fit the desert theme if it is gonna be desert themed here is my concept of Reload season 1
Reload season 1: Desert Paradise
Unvaulted weapons and items: six shooter, dynamite, and many ch1 s5 weapons and items
Map changes: ch1 s5 desert biome
A new music pack called Reloaded OG Desert Paradise being a remix of the OG music but with sounds of the desert and a wildwest theme added to the OG music unlocked for playing Reload
Introducing the Reload pass: in the Reload pass the Free Reward Track has many remixes of OG cosmetics but it also includes new Wild West desert themed cosmetics to fit Desert Paradise and in the Reload pass the Premium Reward Track includes remixes of OG cosmetics with a Wild West desert theme to them
Story: Loopers watch as the desert biome comes in but it brings with it Wild Westers that are on the island to turn the Reload island into a Wild West area and anyone that stands in the way of the Wild Westers must be stopped and the Loopers must stop the Wild Westers as they figure out their true plans for the Reload island as they aren't just gonna turn the island into a Wild West area they are also gonna wreck it

no. it doesn’t hit the same at all reboot is way too fast paced. og fortnite was slow paced and mildly calming most game. reboot is just pure stress 100% of the time.
reboot is just combat non stop. it’s landing. getting some loot. dying to a sweat. respawning at your teammate across the map, dying again respawn. get some good loot. kill a team. die. respawn. die.
it’s not og. og was landing at a quiet spot no one else lands at on a huge map. og is relying on skill to kill not luck hoping the enemies teammates are also dead. og is not having to panic all game because of 5 different teams all having a firefight all around u in the first 5 minutes

Reload isn’t OG. It’s parts of the map. We are getting OG next season as Jones goes back to rewrite the wrongs. It’s a taste of OG, when we go back to OG Fortnite we will likely see Reloaded map change so people have map options.
This is also why Ranked is now a slam dunk. No Vehicles no Mythica barebones all skill.
yeah, i get your point. But the whole maps/weapons are from OG fn. Its like OG with a creative kick to it.
@@YutNav I hear you the reason it feels like that is because in Reloaded alone we have HITSCAN in any other mode we have bulletdrop and damage drop offs. This does make it feel different however the intended purpose is to increase the game speed of the game so matchs end quicker.
Everything about Reloaded is different than OG because it’s built for speed. If you played since the start it was very slow in the beginning but it was awesome more tactical you had to think more. The kids now a-days won’t go for a more tactical game play. Reloaded is the opposite built for head to head fights and speed. Even if you compare OG to the real OG fortnite you would feel differences. I prefer the old season 1 fortenite gameplay myself but I’m also not a kid who cares for mythical and the ability to fly and all this other nonsense. So you have to also play to the current demographic which is mostly 13-20 year olds.
Next season is Marvel ch2 OG is in November
fortnite peaked at og fortnite how is fortnite supposed to top that (5m+) players a day
By fixing their game. Fortnite knows how to bring players back and grow a bigger audience. They just won’t. I’m honestly surprised they got rid of og considering how good it was doing.
