For any document you do not see a dedicated slot, you can upload as part of Client information letter

1. First of all, I was an international student and my husband got open work permit one year before. Now I am on my post graduate work permit and I got B category job and employment letter , I want to extend my spouse open work permit which is going to expire on july. So my question is should I apply for his work permit extension from my cic account or his ?
2. I just tried from his account and completed the questionnaire but in the documents upload page I couldn’t find any field to upload my job letter so I would like to know where should I can find that?

I would suggest from his account. You can upload any important document for which there is no slot as par of client information letter

That is not a mandatory field so if all other docs are ok, it should be good

Hi Rahul! what if we both are in Canada, on a study permit? We got married recently and I want to give up the university and start working under an open work permit. I fill out the questionnaire and at the end, on the "Your Result" page, it says me you're eligible to apply for a visitor visa, not an open work permit!!! In the questionnaire, when I select my status as a student in Canada, it never asks if I am a spouse of an international student or not.

Sir i am unable to upload the imm 5257b as whenever i am filling all the information and saving it and then validating it...everything is fine. But as soon as i am closing the file, the whole check mark answers are getting erased. Please need your help asap. As its not uploading in ircc website and showing error

For inland class , yes . It has no impact on your spouse sponsorship

Hi Rahul. My open work permit got approved and they asked for my passport for further processing. My problem is that I applied owp from india but now I am in canada. Now they only give me only 30 days to send my passport to them. Can I use Canadian visa center?

@@surbhiagarwal4615 don't know how IRCC is processing now a days...My husband applied in December and then he also applied for open work permit for myself... medical examination passed and eligibility review also started in March'21 but after that no update
