  • The Disney Resort Line is an automated monorail in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, which operates between JR Keiyō Line Maihama Station and the Tokyo Disney Resort (TDR). The system is operated by Maihama Resort Line Co., Ltd. , the subsidiary of Oriental Land Co., Ltd. that operates the TDR. Trains travels one way counterclockwise on the 5km loop line. Therefore, the car window on the right side in the direction of travel is outside the loop, and the car window on the left side is inside the loop. All trains stop at all stations and it takes about 13 minutes to make a round.
The Disney Resort Line is not a "attraction" at the TDR, but a “railway” constructed in accordance with the Japanese Railway Business Act. The line intersects public roads, so most of the site is owned by Oriental Land Co., Ltd. , but the Japanese government considers it "transportation" rather than "play". Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, TDR was temporarily closed from February 29 to June 30, 2020, but the line operated as a public transportation.
