Thank you so much, Amanda. I am still looking at wigs, this has been so helpful. I have 80% hair loss from Chemo. I am not vain but I do miss my hair so much- your videos have been so helpful The hardest thing for me is color matching to the color of my bio hair. I see the styles I like but then when I go to the site they don't show all the brunette colors in that style. It is a big investment for me so I don't want to have to send a wig back several times - maybe I won't have to if I do take a chance on a color I feel will suit me. Again, thank you so much! 💖

Oh, my thank you, thank you! First, you have been so helpful to me on my wig journey. You are my go to person, lol! I just purchased my first wig to try. I chose Jon Renau Ignite. I had to send the first one back because it was too small. I know this because I watch you. 😁 I reordered in a large cap. It fits, but I saw these clumps of short, crimped hair and thought I got a defective wig. I googled it and here you came to the rescue. Thank you for your explanations. This wig business is overwhelming. I need to work with the wig, because it's not looking like it does on all these RUclips videos. I appreciate all your videos! Thank you again! 😊

Thank you for your wonderful explanation! I recently purchased my first wig due to chemo hair loss. It has a monofilament part, so I appreciate knowing why permatease is used in other parts of its construction.

I love permatease or anything that will give a wig some height on top - as long as it comes with a mono or lace side part.

Amanda, you delivered a very helpful tutorial!
I do not enjoy perma tease. Too much poof for my head, doesn’t look natural.
However, that’s not yo say I would reject trying piece with perma tease.
I don’t know how to train my outlook of me wearing a poofy piece.
It's definitely hard! It's especially tricky to go from natural hair with hairloss, to a wig with permatease. A huge adjustment that takes time.
Very helpful. There is so much to learn about wigs. I just purchased my first wig, it has permatease. Live and learn not a big fan of permatease wished I watched more videos like yours. Thank you

Amanda, how do you tone down the permatease parts of your wig, if you don't want it poofy?
A little spritz of water and comb it down can help. 😊

I can't stand permatease. Walking around, with what looks like a bird's nest on the top of your head, is not attractive, and it is very noticeable, especially, in wigs with a standard cap. Thank you!
