- A gigantic thank you to everyone who came out to the Offline! Community Mixer 💓 I'll never forget it and how warm and inviting and kind everyone was irl. Adored learning more about you and what brings you to the city and I just love how the internet brought us all together. This video is a few days in my life getting out into the city, and then bringing it back home towards the end for a full on catch up. Living in New York City felt so real this week... I pinched myself multiple times to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Love you endlessly 💓

I had to pinch myself many times this week to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Couldn't have imagined a better group of people to spend the evening with at Offline! 💓 I love how the internet somehow brought us all together. Endlessly grateful that you took a chance to come out and meet Alexis and I, along with everyone else there. Separately, I got a bunch of comments last video about the mom cat to my two kittens and what will happen with her - as far as I know the family is trying to get her spayed and then released. She is pretty feral and loves from a distance from my experience! I hear your concerns and will let you know what happens with her, whenever the family shares that with me. Oh Chelsea, it just breaks my heart to think that people have been hateful to you!! It's always the cowards hiding behind faceless internet accounts who lash out angrily to people like you who create an interesting and fun life and make themselves vulnerable. The other 99.99% love you! I'm probably the oldest of your subscribers and I think your channel was suggested to me last year because I love New York City and visit (from northern California) as often as I can and binge-watch NYC content. But you and your channel struck a chord with me and I look forward to your videos. I cried when you crossed the finish line at the Marathon last year. I wish I'd been in a position when I was your age to live there, but I was raising my two kids. So I live my own free-spirit life now and run off to play there whenever I can! The kitties are adorable (of course), and I think they will continue to bond. The boys often instigate the play fighting, but then they end up snuggling, as you have seen. Thank you for rescuing them! 😃❤

I’m from England I love NY content too. Only visited once but stayed in East village and totally felt like Id lived in the city forever. I’m obsessed with the tiny apartment decor vids too. I love how they create their spaces, being arty I totally relate!

Also, I have that same tendency to start talking to people and then just splintering into random tangents with no point in sight. lol. One thing I do now to help stay focused, is to think about what point it is I want to make or what’s the goal of what I’m about to say, before I start speaking. It does require taking a quick beat before opening my mouth but it really helps me center. I’m more intentional with my words when I do it, I just have to remember to be mindful in the first place. lol. Anyway, just thought I’d share in case it could be helpful for you or anyone else too!

I totally relate to not connecting immediately with the second cat! My third cat - who I fostered originally - I kept because he connected so well with my second cat. I honestly did not want a third and he was already a skittish/ scaredy lil guy who liked the other cats wayyyy more than me. It took him months to cuddle with me, or let me pet him even though I got him at 6 weeks!! I did everything “right” - fed him only when I was around, played with him, etc and he still kept me at an arms length for the longest time. It took months for us to fully bond but now I can’t imagine life without him. Now he is my Velcro baby and follows me around the house wherever I go.
Really loving these latest vlogs exploring the city but just real life. So miss NYC! Most importantly looks like you’re having fun and finding your groove in your post 9-5 life.

I’m so early! I will say benefit of having cats is when they start hunting bugs for you. My tuxie even catches fruit flies!
Also, my boys now basically trade off. When I log into work for the day then they start their morning play session. Then afternoon earlier evening one cat hangs out and cuddles. The other wants a lot of attention but in small spurts. It’s so good. ❤ You’re there!

Hi Chelsea, just came across your content. Looks like you are living and enjoying your life. I’m a 55 year old retired Marine (22 years doing the serving Our Nation thing) and now a marketing executive. I’m clearly not your demographic, yet enjoyed the two vlogs I’ve watched thus far. Keep running and keep focused on running the marathon. Keep running and know that a marathon is more mental than physical. I ran one marathon in my life, the Marine Corps Marathon in 2011. My training had been interrupted because of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster that occurred earlier that year. I had to do the Marine thing in support of the Japanese people and American citizens affected by the disasters. I ran the Marine Corps Marathon, after only having only run a couple of 13 mile runs. I gutted it out and finished in 3:45. So I checked that box. Keep having big fun and remember to sing this Marine Corps cadence when you run: “Mind over Matter, If You Don’t Mind, It Doesn’t Matter” 😊
So proud of u for getting up in front of strangers & speaking, I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than do that. Bravo for u!👏 U did it!
It's good to see you getting out and expanding your horizons! Please don't separate the kittens! They're doing EVERYTHING they are SUPPOSED to do!!! They are learning how to share and set boundaries with each other! The wrestling, occasional hissing is perfectly normal! My four are now 9years old and they still have kitten moments!

Glad you went out & socialized! You didn't seem anxious to me. Sometimes if I have too much time before an event I over think things: what if I can't find anyone to talk to, what if I get bored? And then when I go none of the things I worried about ended up happening. Your new hair is adorable! I'm so far behind on my videos. Gordo has the cutest face, he looks ornery 😂 that mango 🥭 looked delicious never heard of that kind before!

Facing the public speaking fears was fabulous and often introverts make the best public speakers and facilitators, it’s just after the event they need to recover energies alone or with a small group. One of the things that struck me the most was hearing that the vast majority of your audience came on their own! Had I been able to come, I would have been solo as well. It would have been one of the single most bravest things I’ve ever done in my life! I love people so much, yet I’m paralyzed with social anxiety. Get this: I have never dined out alone, or gone to a movie alone. Ever. And uhm, (pauses)- I’m not young! *coughs*😅 It just truly inspired me hearing about that. And just as you said, all those tables looked like bunches of long-time, old friends, comfortable and relaxed, enjoying each others company! 🥰 If you ever do this again, ohhh how I hope I can get my druthers up to come out and meet your peeps. And you! Maybe I’ll wear a T-shirt that says “alone and scared” 😜😎

Dahli looks SO much like my sweet calico girl Elsie, who I adopted in 1989. She lived to be 19 years old and I still miss her to this day. I'm so happy for you to have found this sweet pair of loving fuzzballs. They will bring you so much love and joy for many, many years to come!

Love the more frequent content lately! Went through a separation this week and seeing you with your new animoz is great (she took them because it was better for them all. cats and dogs. not a horror breakup at all. just career chases, which sucks a lot too), and now late life overlooking a midtown from my window 20 stories up that is just 20 somethings meandering, who I could care less to talk to (painting untrue narratives in my head to justify my behavior. lol) , but knowing I cant be a shut in is difficult.

Hi chelsea, great vlog and from one Virgo to another I totally understand that social anxiety feeling. Sometimes you really want to jump out of your comfort zone and push yourself to do and experience new things but there's always that little voice that says, oh maybe tomorrow, next week, whatever but yet when you do it you're glad you did. I'm fine in my own company though, I find it's nice to have your own time to just be you.🤗
