@Jason Boudreau well yeah Smash heights are extremely inconsistent, even besides Ridley loads of the human characters are out of scale with each other. It might have been a fun follow up though just to see how it all compares

I mean, not sure what kind of measurement the compass has, but I always assumed it was "peds" given how that is the only measurement in the game (well, aside from the "steps" of affinity charts). There's also "titanpeds". Given that Rex says that 500 peds is the depth limit for human bodies that could also be used for calculation, somehow. Also, if the compass is showing the measurement in peds, we could technically figure out the size of maps (and thus titans) by using quest markers in the map combined with the distance shown in the compass at the current party's location.
Klaus based them on his version of humanity (which are presumably us) and likely wouldn't have significantly different depth limits, ridiculous jumping ability and massive in-game gravity notwithstanding.

If you ever revisit XB2, I'd be interested to have a better sense of where the heck I am on a titan at a given time. For instance, Mor Ardain. I know the abandoned factory is down by his chest, but I get no sense for that the whole way there.

I get this comment is over 3 years old, but 6 million years times 4 cm per year is 24,000km, so assuming the smallest moon, the cloud sea would still have to be twice as far from top to bottom as the Earth is, which doesn't seem likely, especially since the cloud sea is on both sides..
I think maybe we can find a more conclusive answer for how big the moon is. There are programs that 3D artists use like F-Spy where you can line up some axis lines on an image and it’ll generate a camera at that same location with the same FOV. If we were to use a program like that, I think we could conclusively figure out just how big the moon is, right?

Also, I may be missing the point, but I wouldn't spend too much time trying to figure out the age of the game world based on the size of the moon. It's probably one of those things that they just said "eh, make it about the same size as it is on earth", not "it needs to be X big because the world is Y years old and it should be Z miles away" lol

EM11212 5'4" is actually pretty average for adult women. Your friend and yourself are just taller than average. (However due to the millennia between now and XbC2, and the fact that human sizes increase rather rapidly throughout many centuries, the fact that Pythra is 5'4 is really rather amazing)

You could also use Kos-Mos's height as she has a canon height of 167 according to Xenosaga.
Only if KOS-MOS is the same height. It's not the same body for KOS-MOS, since her Japanese name has "Re:" at the end of it.
For the moon measurement you have to remember that the cloud sea is closer to the moon than the ground meaning that it would appear larger.
