What bounce were you using? 10 or 12?

I always chip with my 54 but pitch anything 30-95 with 58. Play Vokey V grind (10*) in 58 and D (12*) in 54. Love that 54 since I can still open the face while having lots of bounce. What is the bounce # on the H?

I'm curios why PING defaults to lighter shafts in their wedges. 115g Nippon is recipe for the ball going straight up on full swings. Many other mfgs are going with DG S400 Tour Issue (Cleveland and Mizuno), or DG Wedge flex 128g S200 in Vokey. There is a very important reason for these choices. Better players do not want wedges going high, but rather penetrating with high spin on full shots.

Could not agree more. Doesn't make a lick of sense to me. Luckily it seems as though the DG isn't an upcharge so I'll just order them.

Its to pair with their off the rack iron sets that come stock with 105 g shafts. Thankfully there is no upcharge to switch it up.

@@BFisherMKE yeah I dig. Just wish that they would have defaulted to that and made the lightweight option the "no-upcharge". Cheers.

I liked that the nippon became d2 like my set for full swings

@@Fze5656 The PING 159 wedges are D2 in the 50/52, D3 in the 54/56, and D4 in the 58/60/62. This is fairly standard and matches Vokey.
