I love that each kid could personalize what they got! Our elementary school lists are pretty prescriptive (and I totally get it so teachers can have all yellow folders for a subject), but I personalize where we can! Cute shimmery pencil boxes, a pink and gold clipboard with a positive saying, some cute sticky notes to help with reminders.

yes and I wonder what happens to the old pencils, sharpeners, markers and such things, they are still not bad after a year and also all the backpacks and lunch boxes. Hopefully they donate them and do not just throw everything away
We shop from supplies at home before going to the store.our backpacks do not last 6 years. In fact my sons did not last all year last year :(. And they get target backpacks. So maybe they fall apart faster than fancy ones

My husband and I have raised our 8 children and just have our youngest at home. We miss the days of a hectic, noisy, busy household. My husband has young onset alzheimer's, so he talks to the TV when watching vlogs, and think you're talking directly to him. It's kind of funny and cute.

I always color code my supplies by my class (white binder, folder and notebook for science, purple notebook and folder for ela etc) I love the idea of matching the supplies to your backpack. I love seeing how excited all your kiddos get when they go school supply shopping 😊 I usually buy online but last couple of years haven't had to buy much for my 2 kids who are at college as they use Chromebooks a lot so they just need pens, pencils etc, ringbinders, odd books and other stuff. I usually bulk buy as I can get it cheap. I get my 7 year old a stationery pack from her school
