I always wish I could give you two 100 likes per video! You are so relatable and inspiring. I am grateful for what you do for the plant based community by sharing your journey and your recipes. Love from AZ! 😌💕
I love the two of you and your videos on RUclips. I became a vegetarian in 1977 and I became vegan 🌱 January of 2018 from the moment I became vegan I started getting healthier and thinner. I have lost over 70 pounds and have 36 pounds to reach my goal 🥅❤️just had to say thank you, the two of you are an amazing couple. 😉🙃♥️
Have the two of you considered having a RUclips "live?" They're kind of casual and fun and I think the two of you would be naturals. BTW, you always encourage me to stick to this way of eating!
We absolutely LOVE your RUclips channel! I’m the cook in our house, so I’ve made quite a few of your recipes, which have never failed. You both are naturals on camera, very authentic and just gosh darn midwest nice :D We’re way up on Cape Cod in New England. You are welcome to visit anytime!
Haha, I may have been the one who recognized you 2 minutes after you got there, lol! I got a picture with you guys, it was so neat getting to meet you in person! You are both just as lovely and genuine in real life as you are in your videos. 😁 I loved the Louisville vegan jerky too, maple bacon was my favorite flavor! And I actually just had Pizza Head yesterday, their cashew cheese and vegan pepperoni are to die for! ❤️ - Carolyn
Hi Jessica and Brian!! We just started our journey so we missed our VegFest. It was in June. We will catch it next year! Looks like you enjoyed it!! Thanks for sharing!!
2:52 the sauce may have been a cilantro mint chutney. I'm naughty and buy frozen samosas that come with it. Zesty and delicious! The company is Tandoor Chef and the veg samosas are also zesty. I just make them as directed . Found the ingredient list to be veggified: Chutney: Yogurt (Pasteurized Toned Milk, Active Yogurt Culture), Coriander Leaves, Mint Leaves, Green Chillies, Onions, Salt, Garlic Spices, Guar Gum, Citric Acid. Ah! I just remembered: Food Wishes has a recipe for samosadillas(sp?).
Thanks, that's the best sauce ever. I always had it in Indian restaurants but never knew what was in it. The stuff I had never had any dairy in it though. It doesn't need yogurt.
I was interested in a WFPB lifestyle but had no idea of where to begin. I had not heard of Dr. Furman yet. Then I ran across your channel and everything fell into place. Love you guys! And because you mentioned the VegFest I checked and my area has one too! I am so excited! Thank you for all you do!
I love getting your youtube notifications. You guys put a smile on my face every time. I share your videos with my whole wfpb family and we all agree and love your site. We have successfully made your griddler chicken [in my paninni press]. It's really unbelievably delicious. Do you think you its possible to create a mock ham with a marinade of clove and pineapple and maple types of flavorings? Thank you for all you do and inspire!!!
Our Indy Vegfest was inside a large two story venue and there was a long line to get in. It warms my heart that it was busy. I am glad your Vegfest was well received. It's fun to indulge once in awhile. I love Louisville jerky, especially pepperoni! Jane Esselstyn was a speaker there too!
Our Vegfest here in MN was great too. We all deserve the occasional treat(s). My husband is an omnivore who I am slowly converting to a WFPB vegan diet. He loves jerky too and I am so glad to have discovered the Louisville Jerky. He loves it too! ❤️💪🏻🥬🥦🥔
You both light up when talking about your fans, and I love it. I'm glad you can get a reminder sometimes of all the people you help (and entertain), and connect with your viewers online so much, too. P.S. I hope Oliver is bad more often so we see him more.
Everyone deserves a treat occasionally. Everything you tried looked amazing but my mouth was literally watering when you tried the ice cream! OLIVER is so beautiful, we should see more of those two dogs, maybe just occasionally as a treat 😁 Thanks as always for sharing your experience.
Fun! It's interesting to see how different veg fests run. I would have been so excited about the free apples too 😄 we just had our veg fest a few weekends ago in Portland, we had a great time, our toddler enjoyed it as well!
Ugh! Can’t believe I missed this and went to my 15 year reunion instead 😫😫 Will definitely try to make it next year, and hopefully get to see you guys there!
If you guys need a vacation to the PNW next year, check out Orcas Island Veg Fest and Bellingham Veg Fest in Washington State. The San Juan Islands are absolutely gorgeous!
Have you considered writing a anecdotal cookbook or selling merchandise like t shirts? We have an annual vegetarian food fair and vegan fest that are awesome in my city of Toronto Ontario.
See I totally support this! Also Tex Veg fest is coming up and this makes me want to go even more than I already did. I’m WFPB until I cheat and then I’m Vegan. So I totally get what your going through here. But I’d rather eat salty fried than animal products. We need vegan options to cheat with, it’s fun to get ice cream and fried stuff at a festival rather than nothing at all! :) So happy you shared this. 😆😆😆
You two are so personable, genuine and sweet. I would *love* to have run into you at a VegFest! 🙂 Thank you for showing us what you ate. Vegan pizza with cashew cheese is definitely something I want to try! xx
So envious of your VegFest! The one in Lexington Kentucky was not NEARLY as large, and the Jerky people didn't even have a tent! (Just as well, I did not need any more temptations.) Thanks for sharing your day!
Living alone in a rural area where veganism is regarded as a weird cult, I was pleased to visit a pop up veg fest when travelling. It was tiny but as you said meeting fellow vegans is great & to be able to buy healthy vegan food I had not had to make was super 🤢
I'm often in St Louis visiting my parents. Thanks for all these great options. I'll also find you guys on social media. Maybe we'll meet up one of my trips back to town.
I have lived in Louisville for 44+ years and you are both right about pronouncing it--- natives tend to say LooAHvull and non-natives say LOUIE-ville. Thank you for a great YT channel!
Funny story, I didn’t get to go to veg fest (St. Louis is 2.5 hours from us), but while watching your video I pleasantly surprised to see my nephew and sister in law in the background of the ice cream clip! 😂 They live closer than me, so they got to go enjoy the yummy food!
Lucky you, out in shirt sleeves at a festival. Here in northern Michigan we've got snow on the ground. Do you guys have CSAs in your area? Community supported agriculture farms where you sign up for a share for the farms of bounty for a season or more? Our summer / fall season/shares will be winding up in a few weeks. A few weeks after that, the winter shares will begin. It's an awesome way to get lots of vegetables into your house and meals, easily. They are all organic and support a wonderful family farm. ❤️ Superior to, even the organic vegetables available at the supermarket. Wish we had vegan restaurant options around here. Looks good. You two are looking good too.
I love that y'all get to have a Veg Fest!!! I want one. We have BBQ on the River and they do have some amazing potatoes and corn, but it is mostly pork, beef, and chicken. Oliver is so cute!!!!
Of course you have fans! Peef too!! It would be very cool to run into you. I am on the west coast, and watch your videos which do inspire me to eat healthier. Thank you for sharing food and fun with us!
You both look fantastic!! Just started watching your videos and I really enjoy them. Love all the recipes -looking forward to more-will keep watching for sure! Thanks for inspiring!
So much fun to watch this video!! You were making my mouth water...especially with the pizza and spring roll bowl (yummm). I've been going to the local NH Veg Fest in Manchester, NH for the past 3 years and, though really great, it's very small. It was amazing to see such a huge fest! (My fav Louisville Jerky is Carolina BBQ!!) Thanks for sharing such awesome footage :D
We are going to the Texas Veggie Fair next weekend. We do indulge at the fair, but we share everything to minimize the health damage. LOL Everything looks delish!
Vegas VegFest is my favorite. I ate so much. My kids even had a blast.( they are not plant based) I’m going to share your video with my family and friends for ideas.
It's not like you go to a Festival every week of the year! I say it's an indulge day when you do. :) You guys are lucky to have something like that near you. My little Podunk town doesn't even have a Whole Foods.
OMG, just when I thought I couldn't love this video more! Oliver makes an appearance. What an absolute sweetheart. The way her looked over at Brian, like couldn't you make an exception tonight and feed me a bit earlier dad?... I died. Sooooo cute.
Vanilla is my favorite flavor of ice cream, because it is hard to get right, and when it's right, it's sublime. This looked like fun! Please don't be regretful about eating vegan junk food at special events or on certain occasions; you are disciplined about your diet and have done a tremendous job to improve you lives with that discipline. Trust that when you go off the rails, you know how to get back to center. TFP!
Oliver's face after Jessica told him, "You have 35 minutes, bud." 😂😂😂 I swear his expression changed! Maybe it was just the editing but it was too cute and just hilarious. Beautiful dog!
Brian's all about the vanilla ice cream, Jessica's on the chocolate, and I'm sat here at 9pm in Berlin just drooling enough to sink the Titanic all over again at the thought of BLOOD ORANGE SORBET WHAT THE HECK WHY DIDN'T YOU GET SOME TO TRY SO I CAN LIVE VICARIOUSLY THROUGH YOU ARE YOU MAD?!?!?!?!?!?!
Hey check with your own doctor of course but when y'all showed the apples I wanted to say that my Normal wt ( okay slightly chubby ) 61 year old husband suffered with terrible reflux at night especially after greasy, heavy or spicy meals. He wanted to try apple cider vinegar but he hates it so he figured hey why not an apple instead. So sure enough he eats a huge red delicious every nite before bed and has never had the nightly heartburn ever again. It is worth a try and a friend told us that a Fuji apple last thing has worked too. He leaves the big core unnibbled so I'm thrifty and sliver that bad boy up into his morning oatmeal bowl that he takes to work. His cholesterol numbers are way down from all the changes we made. His doctor said he couldn't have a heart attack if he tried. Yay. Guess I'm stuck with him. LOL.
All the tasty treats you chose looked amazing!!! I love watching you guys . Ollie looks so well manicured and clean. Little cutie pup ! Brian looks like you might need to downsize your wedding band! You’re both lookin more beautiful each day ! Have you tried cauliflower crust pizza ? U can make a Southwest one with Jessie’s favorite queso. I love how appreciative you guys were for the free apples . 🍎🍎🍎😘
Glad you had fun! Everything looked delicious! "That Chocolate Vegan" here on YT has a recipe for Tofu Ricotta. I made it and it's really good. You can make a pasta dish out out it or as you said, put it on pizza.
Great video. What is the reason Oliver has to wait until so late to eat? Dogs usually have to potty a few hours after eating, so eating in the morning early is best for getting all digestion done before bedtime.
Outdoors would've been great. I'm in Indianapolis and ours here runs late winter/early spring, so it was indoors which made it so hard to really see who was serving with the heavy attendance. I have to do gluten free. Left without eating anything, unable to verify what would be safe for me.
Check out the blog post for photos & links to the restaurants featured in the video: bit.ly/KrockVegFest19
I can't remember where I saw it but can I have the banana butter recipe that you put on the Ezekiel bread?
It was an amazing event! We also love seedz their food is also very good.
Hey I’m “this one guy”! It was awesome meeting you guys, again appreciate all the ideas and inspiration, been so helpful. Hope to see you next year!
Oh man, awesome to hear from you! 😀 It was really great meeting you there. Keep up the good work and keep losing weight! 😀
We will be doing that in the future! 😀Also, I am so happy we could encourage you in some small way. 😀
Vanilla is my favorite flavor of ice cream!
Dark chocolate!!
So glad that you two were recognized and had lots of fans show some love. 💜
You two are inspirational. Enjoy the occasional junk food and feel no guilt.
Confirmation: You have fans.
Oliver is so cute!! My dog gets confused by the shorter daylight hours, too.
Haha, I may have been the one who recognized you 2 minutes after you got there, lol! I got a picture with you guys, it was so neat getting to meet you in person! You are both just as lovely and genuine in real life as you are in your videos. 😁
I loved the Louisville vegan jerky too, maple bacon was my favorite flavor! And I actually just had Pizza Head yesterday, their cashew cheese and vegan pepperoni are to die for! ❤️

Thanks, that's the best sauce ever. I always had it in Indian restaurants but never knew what was in it. The stuff I had never had any dairy in it though. It doesn't need yogurt.
So nice seeing Forest Park been like 10 yrs.
Brian, Vanilla ice cream always been my favorite too! Vanilla ice cream lovers unite!!
I love vanilla ice cream... Vanilla bean... French Vanilla... Rich Vanilla... Mmmmm.
Now I want vanilla ice cream!
I love getting your youtube notifications. You guys put a smile on my face every time. I share your videos with my whole wfpb family and we all agree and love your site. We have successfully made your griddler chicken [in my paninni press]. It's really unbelievably delicious. Louwaville, Louieville or LouISSville ... what's in a name ... we love you guys. That fest looked like fun ... thanks for the tour. 🌹
Hey! So nice to meet you both! I’m Maynards mom💜
Awesome to hear from you! 😀 Thank you so much for talking to us! 😀
Of course you have fans! You are amazing!
Looks like you guys had lots of fun. Thanks for taking us along.
Our Vegfest here in MN was great too. We all deserve the occasional treat(s). My husband is an omnivore who I am slowly converting to a WFPB vegan diet. He loves jerky too and I am so glad to have discovered the Louisville Jerky. He loves it too! ❤️💪🏻🥬🥦🥔
Ohhh I'm so happy that you guys were recognized by your FANS ! THAT is sooo cool . The eggroll bowl looked amazing + the ice cream ❤
I think it is great you two are doing this together.
I love the idea of that thrive coupon book!
You both light up when talking about your fans, and I love it. I'm glad you can get a reminder sometimes of all the people you help (and entertain), and connect with your viewers online so much, too. P.S. I hope Oliver is bad more often so we see him more.
The look Oliver gives Brian at 15:10 says it all. His plan worked though and he got to be in the video.
I cook my spring rolls no oil in air fryer
Everyone deserves a treat occasionally. Everything you tried looked amazing but my mouth was literally watering when you tried the ice cream! OLIVER is so beautiful, we should see more of those two dogs, maybe just occasionally as a treat 😁 Thanks as always for sharing your experience.

Wow free apples! I love that
I am on a true Keto diet watching you all eat vegan food! Love watching you guys!

Loved the info about STL vegfest. Oliver is adorable.
So glad you had a good time. Was hoping to go to the Dallas Veggie Fair this weekend, but will have to see what the weather is going to do.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Oliver. What a cute pup.
Vanilla is life❤️Glad to see you indulge and enjoy

Oliver is adorable!
You both look fantastic!! Just started watching your videos and I really enjoy them. Love all the recipes -looking forward to more-will keep watching for sure! Thanks for inspiring!
Wish we’d have bumped into you! Had the Frida’s bean tacos, too. Can’t believe you haven’t been to their brunch!!!!! GO GO GO!!!
You can air fry spring rolls. They are crispy & delicious. Check out nutmeg notebook.
Louisville or Louisville...you guys crack me up! And made me smile.

Well, Vegas already has a great vegan scene. It would only make sense that their VegFest would be amazing as well! 😀
I have only lived in Vegas a year. It’s exciting to see that the vegan scene is growing in St. Louis. Especially if we ever move back.
It's not like you go to a Festival every week of the year! I say it's an indulge day when you do. :) You guys are lucky to have something like that near you. My little Podunk town doesn't even have a Whole Foods.
You made good time for two hours! Thank you so much for sharing.
Oh my gosh I love you guys. You never fail to make me smile!
What a fun video. Thank you for sharing the adventure.
OMG, just when I thought I couldn't love this video more! Oliver makes an appearance. What an absolute sweetheart. The way her looked over at Brian, like couldn't you make an exception tonight and feed me a bit earlier dad?... I died. Sooooo cute.
I know, that look He gave Brian, like geesh! You guys go to veg fest and I can't eat 30 or so minutes early!?!
I live in KC. I’ll have to attend this next time! Would love to connect with the both of you. Your videos are very inspiring. Thank you!
Looks like Forest Park. Yet another festival hosted in the park. (Yep, that's Forest Park.)
In South Africa . Samosas are called samoosas. You can get the recipes on youtube.
Oliver's face after Jessica told him, "You have 35 minutes, bud." 😂😂😂 I swear his expression changed! Maybe it was just the editing but it was too cute and just hilarious. Beautiful dog!
You both are awesome! Thanks for sharing your lives.
I think you are amazing and definitely wish I could give you 100 likes sending love to you both and the fur babies.
You guys should check out Saffron in Ballwin if you like samosas. They have the best indian food. They have some vegan stuff there.
Vanilla ice cream is the best!
Love you two and your puppies! You are inspiring and a pleasure to watch!
Hey Brian Yay vanilla ice cream! Vanilla has always been my favorite flavor of ice cream! I hope to find a great vegan vanilla in the Boulder area.
That event looked really great! I hate that so many vegan foods you get out aren't particularly healthy but so glad more places are giving us choices!
Hey, didn't know you were Missourians, me too!

6:41 Vietnamese? Maybe there's a vendor index on the event website?

Hey......you guys are sitting on the wrong side.....Hi Oliver. Will watch for veg fest next year. St. Peter's resident 🤗
Thanks for posting. I thought about going to this but totally forgot it was happening.
Glad you had fun! Everything looked delicious! "That Chocolate Vegan" here on YT has a recipe for Tofu Ricotta. I made it and it's really good. You can make a pasta dish out out it or as you said, put it on pizza.
Of course people are going to know better than you know them. You're RUclips stars!
I'm from Memphis, not too far from you. But I live in Seoul, South Korea. We have our Veg Fest in Seoul next weekend
Come to Portland vegfest next year. They had over 200 vendors. There probably have 1000’s of people.
Great video. What is the reason Oliver has to wait until so late to eat? Dogs usually have to potty a few hours after eating, so eating in the morning early is best for getting all digestion done before bedtime.
Worth noting the jerky is gluten free! I ordered 8 bags online for gifts. Yay!
Of course, I move away in late 2017 and now there's a vegfest. SOAB!
Looking forward to the spring roll bowl recipe 👌😁👍. You guys Rock 💪
That looked like some variation of Egg Roll In a Bowl made with rice noodles.
I was at the STL vegfest and would have loved to see you two! It wad an amazing time! I had clementines too! Delicious!
Outdoors would've been great. I'm in Indianapolis and ours here runs late winter/early spring, so it was indoors which made it so hard to really see who was serving with the heavy attendance. I have to do gluten free. Left without eating anything, unable to verify what would be safe for me.
You inspire me with every video!
Of course you have fans. You are awesome!
Looks like you had a great time! Wish I could’ve been there. Maybe another time! ❤️
It was a lot of fun! 😀 We will be going back again next year! 😀
