Borgwarners spool quicker and have better transient response compared to a Garrett or Precision of the same size, peak numbers hp are normally fairly similar, Borgwarner EFR tends to make a few more pony’s in the videos I’ve watched... there’s a lot of tech in the BG’s though. And they are a little on the pricier side.
A true comparison with be when bigger Garrett G-Series turbos come out. The G25-550 and G25-660 are already ridiculously next-level, similar to EFRs. That'll be a really good comparison.

How great would it be if you got a deal just because of that speaker wire. I got a bunch of shit the other day for mentioning how my dad had bought a cummins truck for 200$. He fixed a couple things the owner was overlooking and drove it for years too. Those really are the best deals when you find a stumped seller who just wants the oversized paperweight gone.
