I truely thought I’ve seen most all of them over the years , loving watching this drama in the middle of our first big snow storm off the year feb4/2024 ! Canada ,God Bless everyone out there especially the little children ! ❤
Alfred played the role of the father in 'I Married A Witch', a fantastic movie. Lots of stars. Never saw this one before, this is really fun. The mother in law played the odious benefactor of Rebecca
@1:40 ~ The least they could do is to make her appear full term. I know~ we all hate cliches, but I can't help saying that hollywood lost something precious after the 50s. This was such a delightful movie.
It was funny how they made full term mothers look flat in many of the movies back then. I don't think we saw actual sized women until TV & they were often dressed in clothes so huge they looked like tents - so the other extreme! 😅
beleeive, beleive, beleave, beleeve beeleev, baleave, bileeve, buleive, bulieve. They told me to sound it out. Thanks for the movie. Everyone, especially Richard Carlson and Cecil Kellaway have such magnificent voices.
The great actor, Cecil Kellaway, can also be seen and thoroughly enjoyed in the wonderful movie, "I Married a Witch," with Veronica Lake. It is one of my favorite movies.
Indeed it is and if you'd like more movies I find delightful I made a public file titled, ENJOYED THESE and this movie will be saved there as well. A feature I like of YT is using their search engine, type an actor's name and you'll get all they're in that YT has. 😊
Very-cute; Thanks so much! I wonder if the Baby is the same one from ‘Forty Little-Mothers’, another wonderful film?! (It’s been awhile since I watched it, but the Baby looks awfully familiar!) 😉☺️💗
I don't know but I'm saving the title to watch 40 as it's new to me, thank you. IDEA: Google search " Forty Little Mothers & My Heart Belongs To Daddy - who played the newborns" I hope you find out!😊
Alfred is a God send. He can do almost anything. I'm glad that Richard Carlson ditched the beard, I don't like beards either. The first time I saw Richard Carlson was in a public education science movie that was for a High School class in the late 60s. The teacher showed a series of them and they were interesting.
Goodness, I don’t, either. BUT, because of the Muslims, we have certainly had to get used to them. What is so funny to me is that as much as Americans don’t like the Muslims, our men have latched on to their beards hook-line-and sinker. Odd !
Is there anything that he can’t do? He reminds me of someone I know, he does everything extremely well as a matter of fact it isn’t anything he can’t do now that I think about it, I used to think he’s some kind of alien 👽.
Wow. She wants to marry her dead sister's husband? While not illegal, some might find that a bit odd. What's odder? In 3 whole years, she couldn't land him and get that ring on her finger. LOL. LOL.
Actually back when the big bad medical industry took over birthing - they kept women in hospital or off their feet for at least 6 weeks - a ridiculously long time. Unrealistic to say the least - certainly most women couldn't afford to stay in bed that long for any reason, they work to do in the home or were employed. Old medical books are fascinating.
Pretty bizarre to make a movie about a bubble dancer without, err, a bubble dance ;-) Anyway fun to speculate on what happens next. Florence and Frances get their marching orders of course, but you might keep the brat around as a reality check :-|
Not so funny. I was 3 months pregnant 🤰 before I had to start wearing maternity clothes. And that was before it came into vogue to show everyone how proud you were to be pregnant and the women wore clothes that made their pregnancy clear. 😮😮
Before the 80s when people started guzzling sugar, sugar substitutes, pasta and pizza, it was difficult to tell if a woman was pregnant into her 7th month. Now some women (and men) look about to deliver when they are not.
Alfred was brilliantly portrayed by the superb actor Cecil Kellaway
I truely thought I’ve seen most all of them over the years , loving watching this drama in the middle of our first big snow storm off the year feb4/2024 ! Canada ,God Bless everyone out there especially the little children ! ❤
Cecil Kellaway is one of my favorite actors. I love any movie that he is in! Great actor!
Cute movie , but Alfred stole every scene!!❤

I carried further back than average and just-met people did not believe I was pregnant until 💥SURPRISE💥It's 6.75lb Boy!🥰
Love the classical movies no other can compare!❤
Thoroughly enjoyed right to the end

In your fun delightful post, if it were read aloud, you forgot one for those with hearing troubles, 🐝 🍁 .......... 😊
What would it be?@@GrannySweets

I'll keep a lookout for it.
He also plays the unfortunate husband in The Postman Always Rings Twice with Lana Turner and John Garfield!

Cool.
Amazing, he came out in clothes
Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha! Now that's funny! That's a good one. LOL.
Wow so lucky! Not me gain forty pounds.
That's unusual, but everyone carries in her own way.
Ah, THE HATERS' BALL at the 48:12 mark. LOL. I knew that one was coming...LOL.

Frightfully decent of you to shoŵ this. Many thanks.
Never enjoyed a movie with such exciting happy ending.
Though you should know! With the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Romans 10:10

SPL,ENDID...THANK YOU...💋❤
This is almost like Julia Roberts' PRETTY WOMAN movie...except it's got a baby. LOL.
Another Kicks movies with an all around cab driver 2-17-24
I’ll bet my bottom dollar that that horrible sneaky little girl goes right up to read the letter before anyone else gets the chance to read it. 😅😅😅
Just perfect...😊 enjoyed every bit of it...🎉🎉🎉
I would call her spirited!
Such great fun!🎉

💞
So was l.l was still wearing my ordinary clothes right up until i and my baby
I much prefer him with the beard.
So…whats the message??
Who is daddy?
למה אין תרגום??
LOL.LOL. She can't walk after having a baby almost 3-4 weeks ago? And a college professor falling for that so easily? Too funny. LOL.
And at the 40: 16 mark, the jig is up. Busted! ...LOL.

First 15 minutes and I’m pissing myself laughing
She's pregnant with a 22 inch waist and wearing a belt, haha!
