I've been slightly obsessed with this song since I've been damn near a baby. I'll never not want to listen to or jam this song.
When music touches your soul, emotions are exposed and raw.
Now that you've fallen in love with Pink Floyd and Zeppelin, may I suggest "Close to the Edge" by Yes, "Supper's Ready" by Genesis, "Moving Pictures" by Rush, "Diamond Dogs" by David Bowie, and all of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by The Beatles. You won't regret the time, I promise!
In 1977 I saw this concert at Municipal Stadium in Cleveland. Pink Floyd had big blow up balloon animals as part of the visuals. I don’t remember much else as I was pretty high at the time.
They are just 4 incredible musicians.
WOW, I usually sit motionless glued to my couch, like I have no backbone. Maybe I'm listening wrong. Keep expanding your horizons my friend
Still can't find the words to say after listening to Pink Floyd? If you've never heard it before it will overwhelm you with feeling's you didn't know you had. Your breaking thru the programming that we've all been taught. Don't stop listening. It'll make you a better person.
Possibly my fave Floyd track of all time. I have every track Pink Floyd have ever done, including the very rare John Peel sessions off the radio.
Mine too
That's not the first time someone's had an emotional reaction to the Animals album
You are da BOMB, dude!! a perfect exdample of how my generation of music will live on as you play it on your media outlets
In the drug days of the late 60s and early 70s, people were completely blown away by their music. You, however didn't need drugs to understand the salient messages in their songs. You are a smart guy. Having owned most of their records, I've been listening to their music for 50 years. I am now 71 years old and I'm still listening. Their songs are as much art as they are music. I'm glad your generation is enjoying what we have so enjoyed in decades past.
As An “Oldster” Seeing You, A Young Gentleman.. Getting SO IN To The Music Of Pink Floyd.. IT Makes Me Even More Proud And Happy Than When I Went To See Them During Their Animals Tour. I Still Have A Piece Of The Big Pink Pig They Floated Over The Old County Stadium In Milwaukee, WI!! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE THAT WAS!!!
I remember being a child and hearing this on the radio and hearing that bass line i didn't even who it was, 22 yrs later i heard it and jumped put of my chair
This is the first Pink Floyd album I ever had. I really wanted The Wall, but at the time it was a double cassette and I couldn’t afford it! So I bought Animals. Needless to say it was my gateway album to some of the best artists ever to create music. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with Pink Floyd’s music. I’m thoroughly enjoying you content 👍🤙🏻👍
Man I just cannot say no, how inspiring others to see your reaction to this. Just listening to it again and jamming out with you it’s so much fun! Thanks for doing this!
One of the best songs ever. Damn straight I clicked as soon as I saw this.
Hard not too cry , know. Its sooooo freaking gooood! Just beautiful!!!!!!!
I always feel obliged, nay, Compelled, to listen to a PF album in its entirety, but that's a pretty big ask, I guess. I'm enjoying watching your reactions. Animals is actually my favorite, too, but of course that's because my ears are informed by all the other PF albums.
One of the best outros in music too.
Favorite album right here
Pink Floyd is just next level and the minute you think you have it all under control Floyd comes along and brings tears to your eyes !
You really should listen to this whole album start to finish it is amazing
It pleases my old soul watching you enjoy Pink Floyd this way no words needed. It is a feeling I thought I would never have again the joy of sharing music.
When I first opened my LP, it had a tuft of dog hair in the jacket. Now that is a 3D concept album!
Loosely based on the book “Animal Farm” - a good short read.
(It was required when I was in school, lol) - about classes of society.
My favorite PF album. Please do each song. ❤️🎶🔥
“Dogs” *will* make you cry!
He did "Dogs" a month ago: ruclips.net/video/AetEFCz-I7g/видео.html
@@psbarrow I saw that after my comment & searched his channel. Thanks, though 🤗🤘🏼
@@lynnhoffmann247 No worries, good on your school for prescribing "Animal Farm" - did they link it to Stalinism and the Bolshevik Revolution?
@@psbarrow Yes, he did (history teacher). I wish it was still required reading!
@@psbarrow It took him a month to digest (Dogs).
It is wise to avoid indigestion.
Not that it's not good, but it's very, very rich, high in calories.
This is my favorite album and my favorite song by Pink Floyd
Bro with this song. I can see youve become one of us. Its an experience all your own dude. So hard to articulate. But i understand now that you understand, and its fucking beautiful isnt it :)
Yea baby, you got that 1st time Pigs experience in ya. Can not get enough of this song..40 years in
Other Worldly is what your looking for. Cheers from deeeep in the Catskill Mts NY. Welcome Brother!!! A lot to see with Floyd, hurry hurry step right in.
Since the 1970's we have known about how amazing and mind bending Pink Floyd is.
This band and Rush are at another level. Musically and lyrically.
I saw the Animals concert in NYC on July 6th, 1977. AMAZING! It's so nice to see people hearing it for the first time, but I wonder how can you have lived so long not knowing this music?
That outro guitar solo could play forever in my head and I'd be a happy man
Animals is my favorite album. I would be happy on a deserted island with just this album. Every other album from every other artist looks up to see animals ! Most cant see it even. It's the greatest music ever .ever. EVER!!!!!
Me too
Hands 🔻 my Favorite PINK FLOYD SONG & ALBUM (Animals) !
Listening to Pink Floyd is an emotional experience. That's why they are the best band ever. All you have to do is listen. Let the music speak for itself. If you haven't already done so, I HIGHLY recommend watching the entire version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond. It's magnificent. 🥰 I love seeing reaction videos to their music. It's something everyone should experience! 🎶
Yep. I’m so excited for you!
Same here.
Hahaha love your reaction at 2:56, this is my favorite song and that part is one of the best moments
The instant I hear the cow bell.
I NEED MORE COWBELL!!🤠🐂➰🛎🎸☠
Wait til you read through the entirety of the lyrics for this album. So many nice and timeless disses in this. ...and crying makes such sense- beauty and connective expression carry such intensity- and to compare with where we are and what's being put out now
"One of These Days" from there album Meddle and "Careful With That Axe Eugene" There now you can listen to both songs and know all of the lyrics at the same time.
My first cassette tape 25 years ago was this album 👍... Amazing just close your eyes and hit play
Sheep is very good too .. Animals, great album 😎👍🎶
👍
@@ryanedwards4512 😎👍
@@gerryweed7697 it's their best album in my opinion. I love the wall but it's very dark. I love the dark side but it's kind of over played. Animals speaks to me even to this day. When I'm getting to involved or saturated with work I'll play this album. The first and last song (pigs on a wing) really speak to me. Also the last part of Dogs. "Stranger at home". "Who was found dead on the phone". It's funny how 1977 still rings true today.
If you didn't care what happens me and I didn't care for you ,we would zig zag away."..... . And you know the rest 👽
@@ryanedwards4512 My favorite album, too! 🤘🏼🎶🔥
@@lynnhoffmann247 it should be everyones favorite....such a great album. My favorite song is fearless. I love echoes( meddle) and time (darkside) and many other songs . Animals was their masterpiece though. That's saying a lot
You need to react to 3 songs of Pink Floyd with the best David Gilmour solo :
From the show pulse live :
-Coming back to life
-Sorrow
And from the show live délicate sound of thunder :
-On the turning away
And from His solo album :
Live from royal Albert hall :
On a island
