- Today I'm going to be looking at one of the most popular models in Porsche's line up, the Macan.
This is the 3.0 litre S version of the 2023 model which has undergone some minor tweaks and changes since it was given a face lift following the previous incarnation.
The smaller SUV market is jam packed with competitors, so can Porsche's unique styling and sports car breading push it ahead of it's competition?

Excellent review….spot on. I took delivery of my S in July with 20” wheels and air suspension and 18 way seats , but no Torque Vectoring. I don’t think it’s worth hit unless you want do track work. I have driven beautiful Mercedes & BMW’s for 30 years, but the Porsche is next level ! In my previous cars a stop every 1.5 hours was necessary to stop stiffness in my 74 year old body. Drove it from Gold Coast the Bathurst 1000 which coincidentally is a 1003km each way. We did 1 stint of 4 hours very comfortably ❤

It's a 2.9l V6, not the old 3.0 - quite a difference in feel and performance.

I have my S on order for March delivery. Your comment on the flat nature of the ride was spot on and is almost as impressive as the sport’s exhaust sound n out right pick up, Porsche Stockport kindly loaned me one for 3 hours and it caused me physical pain to climb back in my dreadfully sedate q5.
