Lint will always be part of locs, even when your super careful. Cutting is a temporary solution if you want to keep your locs for a long time.
It's part of the game honestly, I've made peace with that.
Absolutely! I just color my locs to cover the lint and grey's once a year my natural color and keep it pushing.

Have you ever brushed your Locs to combat lint? I’ve seen a few videos about it. The color looks pretty!
You can't brush out lint buried in your locs. Its almost impossible

Hey Dae! How long ago did you buy that dye?? That’s my absolute faavorite dye but Shea Moisture discontinued the hair color system a while ago.
Just purchased it this week so who knows!
I’m going to try this method. I’m the past when I’ve gotten my hair dyed it always took my hair forever to start growing again. I want color so bad but don’t want to damage my healthy roots or stunt any growth.
It’s honestly not always worth it but do what makes you happy!

The Colour looks great. I honestly feel if you have an aggressive moisturizing routine, then, the colour won't be as harmful to your hair.

Now I understand the cut… I experience Lint in my locs only to the back as well but I will just cover it with color that’s what most people do, no matter how careful you are the back ones always get it lol but great color looks great 😊
