I completely understand you. I share your fascination with the First World War. When I went to university to study history, that's what I wanted to do. Unfortunately, I did not succeed. And I totally understand your reluctance to watch something you're already familiar with. For this reason, I initially didn't really want to watch the series from the Epic History about Napoleon (until I realized how little I really know about the era and how awesome the series itself is), and I also don't want to touch on the history of Rome or Alexander's campaigns now. It's like I've heard about all this many times before. In this sense, the First World War was fresh for me at the time. And also that's why I'm now interested in the history of Asia or the history of Europe in the 16th and 18th centuries.
34:38 In fact the conflict between Russia and the Ottoman Empire began back in the 16th century. Ultimately, there were 10 wars between Russia and the Ottoman Empire of varying degrees of duration and intensity. Unfortunately, little attention is paid to conflicts involving Russia on RUclips. I know only one video that is not related to the official Russian documentary in English and a videos with just maps about the wars of Russia and the Ottoman Empire. The video is called "How Russia humiliated the Ottoman Empire over and over again". However, it is short and does not analyze conflicts in detail

Regarding World war 2 stuff. I am mostly familiar with the events on the eastern front (because I am Russian, I have been studying this since childhood). However, I realized that I knew very little about the Western Front or the Pacific Front. Maybe you also don't know much about the Eastern Front. And in that case, you could cover it on your channel.
I was also interested in WW1, partly because they don't talk much about it. But what is especially interesting is the crises that preceded it. I recommend watching the Bosnian crisis of 1908, it is quite an interesting topic, although almost forgotten. Especially when you know how the great war began, you constantly catch deja vu
Pretty good video, has some issues of framing and bias, but generally a really good exploration of how the war started and how unlike many try to frame it it was not at all inevitable.
22:14 the "propaganda" is technically just news. Germany did in fact commit many massacres against the civilian population of Belgium, they destroyed cultural heritage and constructed a wire of death on the dutch border which caused famine conditions in Belgium during the whole war. WW1 still sits in the mind of most Belgians, especially the older generations, more so than ww2, because these were the worst years in our country since the Spanish occupation in the 1500s and 1600s, where the spanish actively tortured anyone they wanted, and the R-words were so widespread that most Belgians today have part spanish ancestry.
great video brother

20:00 Dont forget the Crimean War which is also considered to be the first WW likeWar

They don’t talk about it, because majority of the world’s problems today, can be traced back to WWI.
React to Extra history Semio tragedy ww1. It’s cover the events leading up to ww1

I highly recommend the book "Storm of steel" by Ernst Junger
