I didn't get very far in Homestuck, never saw a single grey person with candy corn horns. That being said, these designs look pretty good. I especially like how their features somewhat match up with the zodiac sign on their shirts.
Okay, short but spoiler context:the kids you know from home stuck aren't the first to play the game. The trolls played before them, and won. This song is their final boss fight and combined all their themes
act 3 all the way till act 6 starts is the good part. Once all 4 of the kids get into the game, the part of the story that made homestuck into the story that people like happens. a majority of act 6 is garbage till you hit "[S] GAME OVER." basically.
The drop to just one instrument for Kanaya and then the wall of sound when it goes to her full instrumental theme Killed Me. Aradia and Sollux's theme? Beautiful. Gamzee's honks? Terrifying. Vriska's theme? Appropriately badass. 10/10, would discover on accident and fall in love with again

I like this. A good metal cover, but all of the important instruments remain, the harpsichord for Terezi, for instance. And the Kanaya section's drop was absolutely beautiful. If only my sound card didn't malfunction and earrape me when the music turned back up-
