@CheeseMaster16 Started using my sons smaller bike for the wheelie training!. Got up to 5 pedals so far. Still not coming naturally, which is annoying as hell!!
Is it better and easier to wheelie on a big ripper type of bike then a mountain bike or is it all the same ? I’m using a mountain bike and I lose balance
I dont have brakes on my bike because I do mainly freestyle but when I first learned to do long wheelies I would start standing and basically walk the bike into a wheelie and then I would literally RUN and then put my feet on the pedals. Took me a while to get it all the way down but if you are struggling to do a wheelie and dont have brakes, try doing it with my method, it took me about a week of trying every day to get the wheelie all the way down and being able to consistently do it by doing this.
Ah gotcha. That’s unfortunate. I had a similar situation learning on a 30 year old XC bike. Just upgraded to a Canyon Spectral 7. Proper gear makes a world of difference.

Hello. I'm 66, long time your subscriber (since your voice was sound like girl's). I'm about 215 lb, but still working hard. So when I started learn to wheelie my front wheel was max 6 to 8 inch off surface. Watched millions videos, but no special results... Then once catches moment when max pushing pedal AND in curtain moment pull bar and front wheel was up pretty high, 25 inch or so... Ended (sure not everyday and even every week bicycle) up to pulling UP front wheel, didn't expected, of course AND pull it over and fall on my back, still holding bike in front of my face... Two people run to me to help and asking oh man, how are you??? I was just smiling and said I'm ok (and I was fine). So it was probably happiest day in my live...well ...one from them.

Can those training wheels or any others still be used for those kind of bikes? Like is there a way to remove the rear bars to install them or can they install with the bars attached on the bike or no?
I didn't use the brake for years and just chased wheelies out (mountain bikes). I ripped the crotch out of at least 20 pairs of pants from the seat grabbing my pants. I'm old now and have no desire to loop out a bicycle and I do all of my wheelies sitting down now. But I kind of want to start getting aggressive again before my hair finishes going gray.
