In this episode, Nick and Tim sneak in a quick hunt before the outgoing tide leaves them stranded in the rice. They manage a few birds, and get their feelings hurt by the bane of a causeway teal hunter's existence, the disrespectful black-bellied whistling duck.

Florida is infested with whistlers. We shoot a lot during normal duck season. 👍🏻

I'm jealous. They've long since migrated south by the time our big duck opener hits. But, I was talking with the waterfowl program coordinator here and he acted like an early season was being considered for them. Fingers crossed!
