Think many know that there was a traveling exhibit throughout the country years ago of the costuming for Downton Abbey. I was fortunate enough to see it at the Cheek Gardens and estate in Nashville. For Downton Abbey fans thought this was truly masterful it was a reminder that this show really produced some of the best dresses costumes etc of any show ever. Thanks for this clip too Lily James must have delighted in getting to where what she wore
It took you long enough DA, but you Finally uploaded a video that showcased Lady Rose's wedding dress for the Blessing ceremony. That gown is simply breathtaking! One of my favorites throughout the entire series. Lily James wears it to a T! Roses for Rose...💜🌹
I agree; Rose's wedding (blessing) dress IS breathtaking. I remember reading at the time that the costume people found it in a vintage store and it needed NO alterations -- it fit Lily James perfectly, like it was meant to be!
@@ligialeonardo8160 There's talk amongst the Downton Abbey Fandom to do a Prequel/Sequel. Something surrounding the life and times when the late Dowager Countess was Lady Grantham. Prior to her travels to Russia and before Robert married Cora.
I would also add the light pink dress she wears when she goes out with Jack Ross when Tom sees the two of them together. That outfit she wore in that scene was very pretty.
Lady Rose should be on the movies !! Julian Fellowes could be make a continuation of the series that the children now are administration on downton abbey !! Would be so nice wouldn’t?
I love this show, Rose was of my faves. Tom was rude when he didn't acknowledge Jack Ross, just like Edith when she asked what was he doing there at the party surprise concert. Not to mention Robert's reaction to him 😆. The British were prejudice then as well as now. It did make things more real.
It sounds as though you have a chip on your shoulder. Those who think like that should leave for a better place! Nobody forces them to be anywhere that they think treats them badly.

That's one of the reasons I love it! Showed the servants had lives as well as the top, Lord & Lady G. Nothing I said was an attempt to shame, just the facts of what was on the show. Go back and watch it. Rose was one of my faves!
I love Rose but it was really obvious that she was just using Jack for fun and to shock her mom. She may not have realized it cause she was so young but that was very selfish.

That pink gown she wore as she danced with the Prince regent was gorgeous. Not often do I like pink, but that one was stunning.
