The circle also needs to go to player y potition
This is really cool! Your videos are always the best. I did notice that at the end, when you were quite high up in the screen, the level went slightly downwards. Also, at the end, you did mention 'if there's anything you missed, comment down below' and later 'If you have a request for what we cover next, drop it in the comments'. I could barely notice anything! Keep up the hard work! (I did actually then notice that the screen partially shakes in Geometry Dash, and also, if you would like, at the start, you could add a cool particle effect, like in Geometry Dash. Thanks for the video!)
I love having the shorter videos, as it allows you to go and follow along much easier, as when you want to take a break, you won't stop midway through a tutorial. It also makes it easier to look for errors in your code, as you have less to look through. Overall, I think this is much better, and I can't wait for the next weeks video!
I’m thinking the next episode should cover the ship portals!

You can change the particles' color to yellow to make it look like the particles are part of the player.
And in the final, you made the camera follow the player if he goes high.
Wow, this episode came fast! I think in the next episode I see you added scrolling camera which is so cool. Also this is a suggestion, but the default blocks and spikes should have a gradient of black on top and transparent on bottom!
Wasnt expecting this. I thought you are going to do the ship gamemode 😅 but this makes the game much better, im so excited for next episode.

If you look closely, the particles do not end up under the levels in Geometry Dash. But apart from that, you did an excellent job!

The particles rest on the ground too, so it’s not as simple as bringing the level to the front. A collision check is needed.
I solved it by making an invisible rectangle as big as the entire screen, but in the same costume.
I love this tutorial and the boom looks so boomy! Keep it up!

also there is a little shake when you die, but thats probably gonna be a little hard for them to go in the right direction.

In his scratch gd there’s only 2 game modes such as cube and ship because ball was introduced in cycles and scratch gd did stereo madness to poltergeist so for a ball game mode so we need an update for the ball but now we only have to learn ship and cube for now

Just a couple of things I'm unable to not notice XD
At some point the particles go from somewhat visible to completely deleted. 100% invisible = 100 ghost, but you added "Repeat 20: Ghost +4", which is equal to 80. This is slightly countered by the offset, but still.
also the way the particles get stuck to the wall, I mean I guess you can just add an invisible square to the costume to fix :)
Otherwise absolutely epic!

This episode was great! My guess of what you added at the end was vertical scrolling, so that when you go up. It scrolls upwards.

Hey! If it doesn't take much work (it probably does), what about adding more death effects?
Or wait, I just realised, almost every death effect is stored in the game files as an animation, with a sprite sheet, which you could easily import to Scratch! That could work, yeah

11:18 If you look closely, you see that the particles abrubtly stop at the edge, which can be fixed by just deleting the clone when it hits the edge of the screen

For episode 5, could you add the plane thingy from the actual game + those portals you touch to transform into the plane? It would be an AMAZING thing to add! Just suggesting, so if no, it's alright. Also, could you add upwards scrolling?

you can add yellow rings or most commonly known as orb in part 8, gravity changes would be needing a bit of help from other geometry dash creators on Scratch

I know you're motion sick so you don't have to make anything 3D, especially not for me, but it's just a suggestion
Other methods are very difficult in Scratch. I would be happy to do a basic 3d tutorial one day, but large scale 3d is very slow unless you use turbowarp.
@@griffpatch I agree with you. scratch wasn't made for 3D games for sure, but it would be nice to make them. Awesome Llama on scratch somehow made a whole roleplay game so it's certainly possible. I've been watching other videos about making 3D games and I just couldn't understand how it really works. Of course, when I checked his code I really understood why it was lagging so much on scratch and was required to be played on turbowarp. Other than that, I couldn't get it.
