I, as I’m sure everyone appreciates the extra work it takes to produce these films. This was no exception to the standard you guys have made. Looking forward to the next one and next etc. work hard play hard!👍🏻🤘🏻
Love watching your bear hunts! You always produce the most realistic footage and give the best interpretation of what an actual western hunt is all about. Steep climbs and descents, heavy pack outs and sometimes dangerous encounters! No tree stands and corn feeders is these videos… Keep up the good work boys!
Another great video! Nice bear! Gotta say Mark had me laughing! After watching you set up everything for the shot, all I could think was what was he doing, laying in a snow bank some where? 🤣
Dang Brian, the entire scene of you getting your stuff together to shoot that bear was VERY nerve racking!! Great footage and storytelling along with amazing visuals as always! Hope all is well with Brent, looking forward to seeing him back, please send him best regards and good luck with whatever is happening. Can’t wait for more episodes to drop.
This series is great. I love watching these adventures. I think it's really neat to see you integrate different ways to help get gear and meat out of the woods. Thanks for anther great show!
Enjoyed this hunt immensely. Mark's undoubtedly 'GRITTY' sitting shirtless on the cold mountaintop and laying on the snow pack. He's worthy of being a hunting partner for sure.
My 8 year old daughter (Layla), and I, have watched you forever. Amazing content. But THE LLAMAS!!??...Well, they changed the game, my friend! She watches the scenes that feature llamas over and over again! We actually watch them together! The llamas are superstars, lol!!! If you could give a shout-out to Layla next Sunday, when you drop your new episode, that would be incredible!!! She'd be so stoked to hear you mention her!!! I'm heading out on my first Black Bear hunt, ever, in 2 weeks. Backcountry, solo, DIY in California...This series, and your channel overall, have inspired and taught me so much. So stoked for this hunt!!! From Chris and Layla: Thanks Brian and Ryan! You guys are FANTASTIC!!!
Beautiful Work, Love your filming. I grew-up enjoying the fruits of my Father/Grandfathers Bear hunts horseback... So Hats off to you & thanks so much for including your fans!!
Loving the views and watching you too become children again how happy watching this.. hits the heart. New to your channel and you give me hope and a new dream bucket list. Safe fantastic hunt fellas.
Bad ass lads, another great hunt. Was glad to see Mark's face some more and look forward to seeing him get his bear. Was also super stoked to see the Chota Hippie waders tidbit cause I have been wanting to get some but didn't want to bother Ryan with yet another gear question. Love that you include the gear ya'll use even though they are not partners you work with.
Another wonderful addition to the story. My back, knees and feet hurt watching this one. Not to mention the sympathy cotton mouth. Sweet bear, Brian! Old choco AND the white chest patch. Love it
That was pretty cool, Brian, it makes me want to go find some big hills this spring and see what I can see. It’s been awesome seeing other guys in my age group out there living to the fullest! Way to go Mark!
Love watching you guys the respect you give to the outdoors and each other is what it is about. The dancing as you are hiking up the Steep mountainside showing that you are still have fun is perfect. Would love to watch you guys every Sunday. Thank you keep up the great videos.
Another epic hunt! Thanks for sharing Brian. Missing Brent the Gritty Broman but hopefully he is back soon to help out. Crazy times in this world we live on, but your videos make my days better. Look forward to the next episode.
You guys are beasts. I love the hard hunts you do, and not just the everyone can do hunts. Going to the places where few have been and probably where few will ever go is great. The gear that is used and the descriptions on where to find them is gold.
Wow!! I can’t believe all the great bears, you all are so much fun to watch, You all have the best attitudes and abilities to hunt bears where most others won’t go. Thanks for sharing your adventures, Bob Rasmusen
Mark is a mountain beast!!! 1st shooter yada yada 😁 awesome footage as always “4K” makes it so much more visual to watch and super excited to see what’s next. Keep it gritty guys 👍
Another great film put together by a great program. Really do appreciate the enter action you have with us as viewers. I honestly enjoy the shorter films knowing it gives the possibility of more shows. Keep up the great work.
My hat is off to you and Ryan on how you guys can do these grueling, epic hunts. Lot of work to be this successful. Every bear is earned that is for sure. As a 57 year old that still roams the mountains as best I can I was really excited to see Mark roughing it out with you “young” guys! Good for him. Can’t wait to see next episode!
What I love about you guys' productions is the reality of a hunt. Hunting IS all about grit as you guys know. It's hard enough packing essentials let alone all that camera gear AND, you guys climb those steep a55 hills like It's nothing.
How fantastic. What a beautiful bear. These are my favorites bear videos. So well put together. Absolutely fantastic men. As GRITTY as it comes. Stay safe and good luck out there 👍👍😎
I love the series. This channel is the next evolution of binge watching... "time to binge Gritty"... "whatcha doing this weekend? Binging Gritty of course!"
Look forward to these adventures each and every week. Always learn something new, as well…. Great stuff, as usual…including the sense of humor that’s along for the ride :). God bless…
To me you are the best really at portraying what it is really like out there I watch other people follow other people and they’re good at what they do but honestly I look forward to yours the most and your community I believe there’s no hatefulness in it!!! it’s just respect and honesty for what we like to do in the outdoors you’re just far more successful than me so anyway once again thank you my friend for all that you’ve put out and who you put it out with great group of guys you have around you so thanks again
This has been a great series. Love the bear series you've done in the past, and these are just as awesome! Can't wait for the final video. Thanks for taking the time to film these trips
I think you guys do an excellent job of capturing the most important part- The adventure. While the successful hunt is cool it’s truly all about the adventure and getting yourself into these truly gorgeous settings. This was probably my favorite of the series so far. So much beautiful country so much gratitude by you all for the adventure. All in all amazing job class act!
Gritty, StHealthy, and the Lama Pirate…well done. The incredible landscape is the star of the show…as always…I look forward to next week’s bear grizz showdown.
Great bear, congrats man! I appreciate the ruggedness of that area....wow! Interesting how those bears roll when they go down. They're like a sack of lava gel you can count on them NOT going in a straight line...LOL. Glad Ryan got past the big bruin, that could have gone sideways quick. My father grew up in bear country at Jardine, MT (above Gardiner/North entrance to Yellowstone Park) and he always made sure to make lots of noise when coming out with meat or just exiting hunting areas. In all cases in his experience the bears attack when surprised or when one wanders between a sow and her cubs. Loved the presentation, thanks for that.
I really love your bear hunting videos. When I think of the various RUclipsrs, Randy Newberg is the elk guy, the Hunting Public are the whitetail dudes, and Gritty is synonymous with western spot and stalk bear hunting.
Another great film, I really don’t ever want to hunt around Grizzly bears. I am same age as Mark, 55 just went in back country friend got a spike elk. Takes so much training but worth it, what you see in the wilderness, not many people see that. Over 300 elk in a day. The beauty of this land, my son next to me, the stars that stand out like diamonds in the sky. What a awesome creation God has made. Look forward to next film, glad you guys stay safe. Peace and grace.
Great job. Enjoyed this one as well. Ryan running into a GBear, exciting but but a heart thumper for sure. Massive animals that can cover ground fast. Can't wait to see more. I have only been in some bear country once an it was black bear. Only seen one but sleeping in a hammock was nerve racking for a midwest guy for the first few nights.
I think some of my favorite times out hunting are when me and my hunting partners are joking around and having some good laughs, harvesting an animal is the bonus. Really like seeing the lighter moments and seeing everyone with big smiles. Thank you!
I love the camera-work and all the detail! It’s great to sit with my kids and see all the back country action while we are at home! I’m always left wishing the videos were longer or that there were more! Keep up the great work!
First of all I want to congratulate Brian for getting your nice chocolate 🍫 bear 🐻 to add to your freezer since your family’s favorite meat 🥩 is black bear 🐻. Thank God for protecting Ryan and for him to have a cool head in that situation. I have listened to multiple podcasts with Mark and always learn a tremendous amount from them. I know that he is making a black bear module and asking for assistance on a mule deer 🦌 module. I am impressed as always and I have lots of work to do at almost 39 before I am able to go where you guys went.
Breaking down a big bear in 40 minutes is some darn good knife work. Thanks for providing all the great content and congrats on a beautiful mountain bear.
Another awesome video. I love to see what it takes to put yourself in a position to possibly harvest an animal. Lots of videos only show the shot and not the full story of the hunt which you always project in a way that is unmatched.
Great film of you guys on this hunt and you made an awesome shot on that chocolate bear! The pack out looked like a grind in that steep country, and I enjoyed the candor about the ticks! I hate ticks crawling on me and smash them too!
I was wondering what the bears were eating way up there. Seems like the like grazing on flowers. Love how you add in all the little factoids along the way. And Yes A Country Boy Can Survive!!!!
I loved the hunt. Very beautiful chocolate bear. You guys are so blessed to be able to do all the hunting you do. You guys are very successful. Congrats and good luck in the future.
Griz country creeps me out and you guys brought them little snacks. Protecting the lamas brings a hole other element to the hunt. Thanks for sharing all this content. It helps the lessen the learning curve. Much appreciated!
Always great content, storyline and quality. Nothing wrong with 50+ on the hill. Old guys like me still got the Grit ♨️ Can't wait to see Mark get his. Nice Chocolate Bear!🐻 Stay Gritty 🍄
It's a blast watching and listening to you guys, seeing the beautiful scenery of things God made. At 24:19 Mark says, "55 years old -- shouldn't be runnin' round the mountains." (You did great, Mark!) To encourage others (and not to brag) -- I'm in my upper 60s and runnin' around the mountains. Descended very steep 2,000 feet into a canyon in northeast Oregon this fall and then ascended out with my 25-yr-old buddy for his big elk bull. He did the trip 4 times and I did it 3 times. The point: I am not superman but I keep in shape all year riding my bike about 11 miles round-trip per day to/from my office, do calisthenics every day, and eat very well (keeping within a weight range without a lot of fat on my bod; even though I eat my sweet treats every day). You can do it! The key is to stay disciplined, overall, every day (well, at least 6 days/week) and never quit. If you are out of the shape you want to be, get on a routine and slowly, slowly get it back. It's possible. Then you can do, at 55 or 65 or maybe 75 a lot of what you see Brian and Mark doing in this video. A lot of young whipper snappers ask me how I do it and I say, "Just never quit doing the right things with your body and you can do it, too." I'm not doing crazy-hard workouts; basically the bike riding and calisthenics and a 10-minute walk or two each day. Barring accidents and the unseen under God's perfect providence, a lot of men (and women) can do this kind of stuff well into their 60s and 70s. I don't carry any where near the heavy loads that Brian, Mark, and Ryan carry, but I carry my type of load and can do it over and over during a 4- or 9-day hunt. You can, too. Thank you, Brian and all involved! --- Out in Oregon . . .
You are so right! Keep doing physical activity and doing the right things for your body and you can continue to do these hard things! Keep it up and thank you for the support and the comment!
These bear hunts are just amazing and I look forward to them like a kid waiting to open up a Christmas present. I feel like I could just watch the bears all day they seem to have such great character and seeing that on video for as little time as you guys do and then getting a shot off is the best part to me. Thanks so much for the footage and glad to be a new member of your channel.
Congrats on a great bear Brian! Can't wait for the next video and the Griz encounter. "He didn't wet himself, he said he didn't wet himself", oh yea he wet himself! I know I would have wet myself!
I still can't get over the breath taking views of that country you are hunting in. There seems to be a large number of colour phase bears in that area that makes it even more beautiful. No bear would want to eat me. Between my slender build, and the warm surprise I'd leave him in my pants, I wouldn't be much of an appetizing meal. I'd be curious to see how you display your trophy's you have harvested over the years and the stories that go with each one. I love hearing the background and trail to success for each animal, no matter the type of animal.
Brian Ryan and Brad thank from the Dugan family. Your films are not just entertaining but amazingly informative Aswell. Thank you for all the work you guys put in for all of us.
Mark: "I just wanna be clear- I'm first shooter..."
Brian: "...bang..."
Rule is, you spot it first you shoot it first. Mark was too slow. 😜
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words and the support. Glad you enjoyed the story telling!
This series is great. I love watching these adventures. I think it's really neat to see you integrate different ways to help get gear and meat out of the woods. Thanks for anther great show!
When the big glass finally comes down and stalk begins, I'm whispering with you. Got me hooked.
LOL! Thank you!
Enjoyed this hunt immensely. Mark's undoubtedly 'GRITTY' sitting shirtless on the cold mountaintop and laying on the snow pack. He's worthy of being a hunting partner for sure.
Mark is a badass dude! We're gonna do a lot more hunting with Mark.
So glad I stumbled onto these videos!! Wow! So good in every way! Love the “bubbles” with the product reviews/did you know info.
Welcome aboard!
Livesay seems like a cool cat. When he speaks you feel like you should listen.
Livesay is an interesting guy--he's done A LOT of things in his life. He's a fascinating dude.
What a great series. Beautiful country for sure. Look forward for the next video.
My 8 year old daughter (Layla), and I, have watched you forever. Amazing content. But THE LLAMAS!!??...Well, they changed the game, my friend! She watches the scenes that feature llamas over and over again! We actually watch them together! The llamas are superstars, lol!!!

Another wonderful addition to the story. My back, knees and feet hurt watching this one. Not to mention the sympathy cotton mouth. Sweet bear, Brian! Old choco AND the white chest patch. Love it

Awesome content, me and my two boys love watching Gritty! We all learn so much from the episodes, it’s a family get together.
Thanks Alvin!
Another epic hunt! Thanks for sharing Brian. Missing Brent the Gritty Broman but hopefully he is back soon to help out. Crazy times in this world we live on, but your videos make my days better. Look forward to the next episode.
Thanks brotha! Brent is in a good place. I think he'll be back next summer.

Great video! The part that cracked me up was Brian in his puffy jacket, and Mark with no shirt. 😂 Nice shot on a beautiful bear.
We different! 😂
Mark is a mountain beast!!! 1st shooter yada yada 😁 awesome footage as always “4K” makes it so much more visual to watch and super excited to see what’s next. Keep it gritty guys 👍

Crazy how steep this terrain is. That dude just kept rolling and rolling.. CRAZY! Love these hunts and love the quality of your videos. Very pro

Thanks Bret!!! That’s my biggest fear-surprising a sow with cubs! 😬😳
I really love your bear hunting videos. When I think of the various RUclipsrs, Randy Newberg is the elk guy, the Hunting Public are the whitetail dudes, and Gritty is synonymous with western spot and stalk bear hunting.
Thank you! That’s good company!
Very cool, I am impressed that bear was as big as it was. Nice work!
Another beautiful bear! Outstanding! Great video and well produced!
Love your videos, especially the new graphics part. The terrain looks steep as all get out. Thanks for such great episodes.
Another great film, I really don’t ever want to hunt around Grizzly bears. I

Well done!! Really appreciate the way you present your content. Informative, educational, and entertaining all in one.
You guys are awesome! Watching your bear hunting episodes gets me absolutely pumped for my next one!

Another epic adventure! Always enjoy Gritty films on hunts that I enjoy as well! Keep them coming Brian!
Love this series! Absolutely fantastic
Great series, loved this one. The quality of these videos is among the best there is and I love how they capture all aspects of the hunt.
I think some of my favorite times out hunting are when me and my hunting partners are joking around and having some good laughs, harvesting an animal is the bonus. Really like seeing the lighter moments and seeing everyone with big smiles. Thank you!
Same here. Thanks for watching!
Love that country you guy are in, and the color of that bear is awesome! Good job gents
I love the camera-work and all the detail! It’s great to sit with my kids and see all the back country action while we are at home! I’m always left wishing the videos were longer or that there were more! Keep up the great work!
What an amzing hunt boys! I loved the Red! Keep it going giys!
First of all I want to congratulate Brian for getting your nice chocolate 🍫 bear 🐻 to add to your freezer since your family’s favorite meat 🥩 is black bear 🐻. Thank God for protecting Ryan and for him to have a cool head in that situation.

Thanks Forrest! Don't let the time slip by--just start hitting those mountains!
Awesome adventure as usual! Thanks for bringing us along!!
Love the footage!! The grizzlies are crazy in numbers. Great looking bear!!
Breaking down a big bear in 40 minutes is some darn good knife work. Thanks for providing all the great content and congrats on a beautiful mountain bear.
Thanks Travis!
Another awesome video. I love to see what it takes to put yourself in a position to possibly harvest an animal. Lots of videos only show the shot and not the full story of the hunt which you always project in a way that is unmatched.
Thank you Chuck. I want you to experience the trip like we did. I'm glad you're about more than the kill shot.
Great! Dig the country and the experience. Really enjoy watching the hunts in these steep hills and canyons.
Holy crap! A Bucket list must! I am hooked!
Great film of you guys on this hunt and you made an awesome shot on that chocolate bear! The pack out looked like a grind in that steep country, and I enjoyed the candor about the ticks! I hate ticks crawling on me and smash them too!
Awesome video. Looking forward to the next and cant wait to see what color Mark shoots.
Another great bear down and a great shot to make it happen. Can’t wait to see Mark get on a bear.
Thanks again, another great episode. I doubt I will ever hunt bear but I am really enjoying watching you guys do it. Looking forward to the next one.
Another awesome bear! Congrats Brian. If I could choose any hunt, it would be a spring bear hunt with Brian n Ryan. Always great videos. Thanks guys.
The series you put together are nothing short of amazing! Great video as always!
Hopefully when I’m 55 I will still be getting up and over the hills. Good job Mark.
I was wondering what the bears were eating way up there. Seems like the like grazing on flowers. Love how you add in all the little factoids along the way. And Yes A Country Boy Can Survive!!!!
Thanks Chriss!
I loved the hunt. Very beautiful chocolate bear. You guys are so blessed to be able to do all the hunting you do. You guys are very successful. Congrats and good luck in the future.
Fantastic as always man!!! Looking forward to Ryan's grizzly encounter!!! I can't click on it fast enough once I see a new gritty vid🤟👊🇺🇸
Griz country creeps me out and you guys brought them little snacks. Protecting the lamas brings a hole other element to the hunt. Thanks for sharing all this content. It helps the lessen the learning curve. Much appreciated!
Another great video. You always put together such great videos, my boys and I really enjoy watching these. Thank you!
Always great content, storyline and quality.
Nothing wrong with 50+ on the hill. Old guys like me still got the Grit ♨️
Can't wait to see Mark get his.
Nice Chocolate Bear!🐻
Stay Gritty 🍄
Old guys are tougher! ✊🏼😉

Once again you guy's hit it out of the park! Thanks again!!
I don’t think I could hunting in grizzly country like that especially back packing. Congrats on a super nice bear. I love the color.
Thanks again Brian, another great film! I think it would take me awhile to get very comfortable around them G bears!
Thanks John! I'm the same--I just love watching bears!
Love your videos guys. I dream of hunting the mountains like you do. Keep up the good work
Beautiful filming and bear! Crazy cooking, camping, hanging meat in grizzly country, especially when you have seen so many. Don't think I would sleep!
Congrats on a great bear Brian! Can't wait for the next video and the Griz encounter. "He didn't wet himself, he said he didn't wet himself", oh yea he wet himself! I know I would have wet myself!
😂🤘🏼
Excellent episode! Really enjoy your bear hunts. I'm looking forward to the Peax headlamps. Let us know more when they become available.
Thanks Lonny!
😂 LOL! I like that trophy idea-could be an interesting show!
Best film again today! Great job n congrats on a beautiful bear!
