Thanks very helpful video. Do you know if there is direct speedboats from Ao Nang in Krabi or do they take you by van towards Lanta ?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Yes there is a boat. you can buy tickets here. it looks like they pick you up from your hotel around 6am and take you to the pier. It's a 7 hour journey though so good luck!

I dropped a bollok. Heading to lipe in june from kuala lumpur. Flight to langkawi. No boats direct to lipe in closed season. So ferry to satun, taxi to pak bara then boat to lipe.
To make matters worse, land in langkawi 810am, only ferry that day leaves kuah 930am. 30 mins between airport and kuah.
    Wish me luck lol

@BangkokJack858 hehe true that. Im not expecting I'll make it as I'll need 40 mins before departure to check in (bag checks, immigration etc)
      But i can try 👍

Thanks for the video and info. If we are travelling from Langkawi to Koh Lipe and return via same route, are we eligible for visa exemption or visa arrival at both the borders. ?( I am an Indian National)

Hi. Very informative vdos. I just want to confirm that is it possible to reach koh lipe after 20th may as it is rainy season and some people are saying that sea is very rough. Do tour operators do transfer during this time to koh lipe. Really want to visit koh lipe but i m stuck on this point of rainy season

They will probably run, but I would wait to buy your ticket to see what the weather is like. If its very rainy and the waters are choppy I would avoid it. I wouldn't want to do such a long journey in choppy waters

After researching on internet I came to know that during low season, there is only one way of reaching Koh lipe and that is from pak bara pier. All other ferry/speedboat routes like phi phi, Phuket, Koh lanta etc do not operate in low season

@@itsowais1 Hi, do you have. source for this? I fly to Phuket tomorrow and was going to go straight to Rassada Pier to catch the boat to Koh Lipe. But now I am thinking I have to fly to Hat Yai...
Might explain why there is no search results from Phuket to Koh Lipe in the link in the description.
