Thanks for uploading this, whoever you are, I'd forgotten there is a very short clip of me on this (at 2.42) and cheers for the plug for my Facebook page :-)
Este artista Roy Wood fue el padre inventor de la famosa banda británica Electric Light Orchestra, Co fundador con Jeff Lynne y Bev Bevan (baterista). Genios!!
My favourite Christmas song of all time. I listen to it all year round when I'm cleaning. My poor 🐕 dog must think I've lost the plot again. Singing and dancing doing the cleaning. I'm knackered at the end of it. I'm almost 72 now. Nevermind it's November 20th 2024 and they're starting playing Christmas songs again. Fantastic ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Happy to plug it, Martin. You're the expert. There aren't too many who could beat Roy in a quiz about himself, after all.
That's very kind :-) been a dedicated fan for over 50 years now which helps
@@manintheclinic Martin thank you for all the wonderful interviews you've done with the various ELO members. Great job!
@@JQ127-c4e That's very kind of you, Cheers
We all like Roy Wood......
As a kid, I was blown away by Wizzard. Saw them at Sheffield City Hall in '74. Very loud but very, very good. Still a fan.
I was a kid of nine in 1974. - living in Sheffield. Wizzard was my favourite band, but I was too young to have seen them at the City Hall.😢
Roy’s vocals are fantastic. His voice is powerful but doesn’t sound strained. Above all it’s got great tone and the words are clear as crystal.
Wizzard were definitely in my top 5 favourite groups of the 70s.
The Move were such a great band.
So was ELO
Those Brummies were in their pomp in the 70's.
I absolutely love Looking On & Message From The Country, terrific albums! 😉

I have the Breakfast Time from Dec 84 when Roy dicussed the papers and his artwork
Wizzard band is very talented.
Very good Tony !!
Best live band I ever seen and I have seen many. Roy Wood still cuts the mustard if you can pardon the pun.
Great band.
great
Kin genius
What does woody have to do to get the recognition he deserves still the brilliant musician he's always been. Why no gong from the palace
Great to see Alan Freeman and Tony Blackburn at the end of this clip. Was this pairing the inspiration for "Smashie" and "Nicey", or vice versa?
Why are they showing Jonathan King.?.
I saw you!
Hello. Do you have the complete video of 'Angel Fingers' seen here, in HD? It's available on RUclips but in very low quality. Thank you.
I'm afraid not. My copy is only slightly better than the one on RUclips.
Where's the Knighthood for Roy. SIR ROY WOOD, yeah that sounds good.
No offence intended but i my own opinion rated Roy wood better than Spector
The wall of Sound..not Spector himself
What ever happened to his helicopters
Dutch group Dragonfly were the first!
Hugh McDowell on chello... ELO¨S chellist
