That's a great oval cut, well done. I'm wondering though, instead of cutting through all facets to its meeting points, won't it be more economical to saw most of the material off the stone? You could have some material to cut some other smaller gems. Not because I'm Dutch;), but I've seen the prices on those pulled ruby rough, if you can get it, beautiful red colour, but not cheap.
