Inter-School Poem Recitation Competition
The highly anticipated Inter-School Poem Recitation Competition was held on 24 August 2024, bringing together talented young poets from various esteemed schools in the region. The event, organized by KenBridge School under the aegies of Kota Sahodaya Schools Complex, was graced by the presence of veteran Professor Dr. Sanjay Chawla, Govt. Art College professor , an author Dr. Jatinder Kohli, and motivational speaker Ms. Sarika Saggar as the esteemed jury members. Adding further prestige to the occasion, the event was honored by Ms. Vijay Lakshmi Sharma, Principal Emanuel Mission School, as the Special Guest.
The competition was divided into two categories with distinct themes for each category. The juniors passionately expressed their love and admiration for their mothers, beautifully capturing the essence of the theme "Mother." The winners in this category were:
1.Prachi Parewa from Lawrence and Mayo School - 1st Place
2.Ananya Singh from KenBridge School - 2nd Place
3.Satakshi Tiwari from Army Public School - 3rd Place
The Senior section, with the powerful theme of "Valour," showcased the students' ability to convey bravery and courage through their verses. The winners in this category were:
1.Ravleen Kaur from Springdales Children's School - 1st Place
2.Sanchi Tirthani from Lawrence and Mayo School - 2nd Place
3.Ritika Singh from KenBridge School and Ishita Agarwal from Bansal Public School - Joint 3rd Place
Each participant displayed remarkable talent and creativity, making it a challenging task for the jury to select the winners. The competition not only celebrated the art of poetry but also encouraged students to express their thoughts and emotions eloquently.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and trophies to the winners, followed by a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of everyone involved in making the event a grand success.
