The end result is nice, but there’s just too many steps in order to get there? I’m a sewist as well. If the person is a beginner, then that step would definitely turn them off to continuing any further? I don’t know anyone who sews, that’s willing to remove all of those stitches for the sake of altering a garment? Seam ripping is a necessary evil that has to be done sometimes. We don’t like doing it, we dread it, & loathe it w/a passion. If there’s a way to get around it, & not do it then we’re so there. It’s a pain in the neck, literally.
I love every step of the process and it's hard to split the seams of a dress, but it makes it easy to get to the end result.I would be happy to tell you what you think about other videos as a skilled tailor🌹
The title is very misleading? This tutorial is neither quick, nor is it easy. I’m not a beginner sewer by any means, either, & so I skipped to the end.
