I love watching Dr. Greyson promote his new book and after this being the 4th time listening to him give the intro about the suicide patient who was the first to plant the seed for him that mind/body might be separate, I had an epiphany. Perhaps that patient had that veridical OBE, for just that purpose. Perhaps Dr. Greyson was meant to hear her story and thus dedicate his life's work to the advancement of NDE studies. In the same way, I believe there's a reason that the invention of our modern resuscitation methods, propelled NDE'S into the scientific field in this particular century, paving the way for millions of experiences to happen and be shared at the unprecedented rate they are. There is a spiritual awareness and awakening happening and as we can see, it's blurring the lines between several different disciplines, and showing us that science and philosophy do in fact coexist.
We agree the intersection and interplay of so many disciplines - psychology, philosophy, traditional religious practices, neuroscience, medicine - is creating an unprecedented awakening!
Cheers for the interview, I have actually ordered the book. Really looking forward to reading it. I've been pondering about this a lot lately, and I wonder if it's a conscious growing thing amongst us all, or if it's just me. Either way, love to hear all the things about it, no matter who is taking or researching about it. Makes me feel calm and at ease
Since you invite people to rate and review your podcast, I offer the following: good questions; good information. I invite you to consider limiting the use of fillers, such as: “Kinda“ and “sorta.” I also invite you to listen to your manner of speech which contains vocal fry and work with a voice therapist to eliminate it..
