Man thanks for the vid. I’ve had the front setup forever but stayed away from the rear setup. Crystal clear vid and awesome easy to follow instruction🏆🏆

Words to the wise. I know this video is 3 yes old but I just had to add something. Anti seize is fine for threads and things that don't move unless being adjusted. Things that move as a normal part of the suspensions action should use grease. Antiseize isn't a particularly good lubricant and will accelerate wear.

Nice job well done dude! Do you have a parts list of the front and rear UMI gear? I'm interested in the followup videos especially when you install the floor shifter . I also have a 1981 Malibu but it's wagon. Good luck

Great job on all the new parts. Just wanted to ask. I noticed when you did front suspension how did you get your frame to look so smooth.

Thanks! I completely stripped it down to bare metal. Self etching primer and duplicolor low gloss black engine enamel

@@snedenwerks I called umi for the 2.5 kit for my 86 Monte Carlo SS and they said I need to ask for the factory height I’m wanting to put 24 inch rims on it and don’t know if the factory height will be high enough I want to put a 5 inch lip on the back wheels and no I probably need to do a chassis notch and fender row do you think the 24s will fit on the factory height? I was thinking the coil overs would go higher but the 2.5 Kit can only lower 2 inches correct?
