I love Logic of English! My second child was struggling to learn to read so I bought LOE for her when she was 7 and she excelled with it & I fell in love with teaching it! We did not like Essentials after it though and used All About Spelling instead with great success. Now I am going through LOE again with a younger child! He just finished B and we just started C. I'm sad every time he finishes a level because I know it is my last time teaching that level since he is my youngest. I had no idea they have online instruction! That is so awesome!
I ended up buying Foundations and Essentials because I have multiple ages to teach. When all the books arrived I was so stressed. So we just started doing the online stuff. I was like wait, I thought they said supplement and she’s teaching the whole thing! Which really helps me out with many ages to teach! Now I just feel like I have a pile of books and workbooks that we don’t really need 😅 Although we are getting into Essentials and that’s more spelling so maybe we will need some of the workbooks at that point. 🤷♀️
I have all of the All About Reading levels, but my youngest learns really well w videos. Do you think I could just get the online portion and just include it w our AAR lesson? Or would I need the pdf student workbook? He's mainly having issues with blending the letters together to read the word.
@@gatheredandgroundedThanks again for your video! I ended up purchasing the online portion and workbook. We're only on lesson2, but I'm loving it already!
I’ve been debating getting this for my kids. So could I get away with just getting the online supplement? And then just ordering the tactile cards? My son has an extremely hard time with handwriting and the approach used in foundations seems like it might help him.
@ thank you so much! Your video was exactly what I needed! I’ve been struggling trying to find the perfect curriculum. We’ve jumped around a lot and I’m afraid I’ve just hurt my son’s progress. He is now reluctant to read.

The video lessons would work great! They have games that replace the worksheets

@ so glad to hear that ❤️

Yes! I would recommend getting their whiteboard along with the cards ❤️

@@kaylatice5061 I was 100000% in the same boat, hope this works 🤞
Omg I had no idea that they had online video lessons. How long does a video lesson take?
There are normally like 3-5 videos for each lesson that are under 3 minutes each
@ thank you!
@@Svargasc3So this is off topic but do you still use TGTB Language Arts?
I am looking to simplify my LA as a mom of now six kids.
@ yes! We absolutely love TGTB ELA. Most likely will never switch it. 😊
