      Not really. In head to head matchups in their prime KG and Duncan’s stats are pretty similar. Also Duncan’s efficiency dips substantially in those games.

    I'm a Mavs fan and we had a lot of battles against the Spurs. And even after all that i have nothing but respect for TD and know he's one of the best players of all time. His fundamentals and how he played the game the right way was such a joy to watch - even when he was kicking our butts.

    It only works when you are a great like Timmy, but I think it's so effective because you realize he didn't just beat you. He watched and knew exactly what you were trying to do, and even gave you kudos on the attempt. That gets in your head, because you know he's not just studying you, but knows exactly what to do.     Duncan and Olajuwon, bigs with best footwork ever. Abdul-Jabber a little different as his footwork was primarily to set up the body shield for that near unstoppable sky hook, still very impressive footwork though, but Wilt’s pure desire found a way to block even that shot. Wilt was just built different though.
