He has big screen appeal! I would book his scary lookin ass in a horror film or a action movie where he’s one of the henchmen sent to kill the one man army
Gotta imagine, as a player, you're trying so hard against Tim and he'd stop you or score on you, then hit you with just a "nice try" or "Ooo, almost." That would just eat at you, bit by bit. Killing you with subtle verbal jabs.
Wtf are u talking about? So every other *man* that has talked trash in complete sentences while in competition aren't *MEN?* What kind of beta ass logic is that?

This makes me so happy because I'm a die hard Spurs Fan! From Texas and Timmie was my favorite player... The best power forward to ever play the game GOAT. I miss those days where my Spurs was winning... 5 time nba champion... 2Mvps I'm just smiling having flash backs... Tony Ginovi and Timmie... Those where the days...
Tim Duncan never gets enough credit because he wasn't flashy one smooth didn't wear chains one out in the club one flashing a Rolls-Royce or Ferrari just showed up did his job much respect
The casual fan doesn’t remember them. They are respected by their peers and people within the NBA. Hardcore fans know Tim Duncan and David Robison were great players. As long as my peer shower me with adulation I could care less about the fans.
Tim Duncan used to give it to KG too! It was the perfect example of raw talent out-of-high-school vs. talent nurtured for 4 years in a good college program!
Not really. In head to head matchups in their prime KG and Duncan’s stats are pretty similar. Also Duncan’s efficiency dips substantially in those games.
I'm a Mavs fan and we had a lot of battles against the Spurs. And even after all that i have nothing but respect for TD and know he's one of the best players of all time. His fundamentals and how he played the game the right way was such a joy to watch - even when he was kicking our butts.
I agree with him a hundred percent Tim Duncan was a type of guy that talk noise but talk to in a gentleman way and still backed it up at the same time Mr Big fundamentals himself
KG Duncan duels from late 90s 00s were so memorable... they were the best power forwards in their prime at the moment...Rasheed Wallace you can throw his name in their as well
As a hooper, that almost and nice try is oldies but the best. You can't get and gotta focus on making shots n better defense. I got mad half the time 😂😂😭😂
KG did that to try to get TD mad. TD played on such an even teel mentally and physically that the opposing players felt that they didn't really have a edge! Add on how TD trash talked then you can see how every player that played against him played at a disadvantage mentally.
I’m a casual nba fan but I always got Timmy D in my top 5. Watched the whole spurs heat phase and early Timmy D days and he was just so fundamentally in tune
It only works when you are a great like Timmy, but I think it's so effective because you realize he didn't just beat you. He watched and knew exactly what you were trying to do, and even gave you kudos on the attempt. That gets in your head, because you know he's not just studying you, but knows exactly what to do. Just demoralizing
Duncan and Olajuwon, bigs with best footwork ever. Abdul-Jabber a little different as his footwork was primarily to set up the body shield for that near unstoppable sky hook, still very impressive footwork though, but Wilt’s pure desire found a way to block even that shot. Wilt was just built different though.
Tim Duncan talking trash like a gentleman
